Requirements

Authorities and Responsibilities

• Act as primary customer contact, and provide technical support and regular update to customers on project development in a timely manner.

Competence Requirements

• Preferred to have NTC / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with 3 – 6 years of related experience in which 2 years of involvement with project management in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Preference will be given to those who have experience working with multi-discipline project teams in a manufacturing equipment or system integration environment.

Task and Responsibilities

• Read and understand technical specifications, prepare job-list, work schedule, plan material take off and manpower planning of yard men and contractor for each given jobs. • Identify parts and components needed for repairs or replacement and to liaise with regional vendors for replacement of critical spares for vessels.

Job Description

• Lead and manage a team of Sub-contractors for all addition and alteration (A&A) work
• Plan, organize, co-ordinate and implement A&A work timely and ensure compliance to all authority and client's requirement
• Liaise with sub-contractor and vendor for quotations and purchase orders
• Evaluate project requirements and generate feasible proposals for work completion
• Liaise with client's appointed officer on all issues related to the A&A and project work
• Preparation and submission of shop drawings, point schedule, materials, write-ups, and other necessary items for approval
• Track and manage project progress and submit progress claims
