Key responsibilities / accountabilities
Reporting to and assisting the Project Manager in the preparation of Nitrogen/Helium Leak Testing Work Packages and Procedures. Based in customer’s office at Jurong Island, Singapore.
Responsibilities include:
· Assumes the role of Project Engineer at designated worksite, reporting to the Project Manager.
· Under minimal supervision, develop Nitrogen/Helium Leak Testing Procedures and Workpacks in accordance with specifications and documented procedures.
· Check, verify and approve Procedures and Work Packs developed by other engineers.
· Assisting in pre-mobilization activities, including the selection of equipment and implementation of pre-mobilization function testing for critical equipment items and as required by the contract or client requirements.
· Locating of equipment at the designated load-out area, rigging up and carrying out of pre-testing activities prior to commencement of operations in accordance with the documented procedures.
· Assists with the training of assigned personnel in engineering and operations planning.
· Reporting any defects which may result in an accident/incident including the implementation of the corrective actions.
· Maintains records and communications as required by management. Promotes and maintains good customer relations.
· Performs other related duties as required.
