Position Overview:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction materials, processes, and workmanship throughout a project. We are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Engineer - Electrical to join our Building Services team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

● Leading electrical services design for building projects

● Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity

● Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, checking shop drawings, tenders, proposals and mechanical report writing

● Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants

● In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting

● Communicate effectively with the client, sub-consultants, contractors, and other parties relevant to the job

● Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients

● Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance

Key Requirements

· Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Engineering degree recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore will be an advantage.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience with 4 years in a consultancy environment

· Experience in leading roles for design & design management of commercial and/or institutional projects. Experience in data centre projects will be an advantage

· Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures

· Competent user of relevant engineering software

· Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English

· Able to work independently & exercise initiative

· Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives

Vision-Language Models (VLMs) are powerful tools for processing and understanding text and images. This research aims to study the processing of visual tokens in the language model component of VLM. The role will focus on analyzing the localization of object information, the evolution of visual token representations across layers, and the mechanism of integrating visual information for predictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analyzing the localization of object information, the evolution of visual token representations across layers, and the mechanism of integrating visual information for predictions.
• Work closely with Centre’s researchers to design and develop research prototypes into the proof-of-concept systems.
• Design and build working tools that can support the technology transfer of new capabilities to research partners and can be used to showcase the value of a given research outcome.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, presentations, and papers on research into trust technologies testing, helping to educate and raise the overall competency in emerging areas of trust technologies.
• Engage global partners and researchers to understand latest trends and advance Singapore’s mindshare in this domain.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science or related field
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between research and practical application.
