• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance Reliability Engineering field.
• At least 6 years of working experience in engineering with EPC/EPCM contractors or in Operation & Maintenance in the Oil, Petrol or Chemical plant or similar.
• Knowledge in Refractory repair work is an advantage.
• Strong desire to work in a leading edge industrial environment with a strong focus on reliability and efficiency.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Auto Cad, CMMS, etc.
• Able to work independently and in a team to achieve departmental goal of lean production.
• Knowledge of Maintenance and Asset Management is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of industrial standards such as API, ASME etc.

Successful candidate will be working in the main office located at 15 Tuas View Circuit, Singapore 636968. Company transport is provided.

• Provides supervision to shipyard team and foremen
• Develops departmental plans, including production and/or organizational priorities and establish shipyard fabrication activities
• Directs activities in areas of safety and personnel, production, scheduling, material handling and quality and ensures compliance with all Safety, Quality, Company and Regulatory directives in conjunction with Manager, HSSEQ
• Review and interpret designs, drawings & specifications, recommend changes to plans and specifications to meet actual vessel conditions
• Directs and coordinates shipyard operations within company policies and procedures
• Responsible and accountable for the performance of craft supervisors, technicians, and line staff for safety, quality and scheduling
• Responsible for providing the quantity and quality of workers to meet schedule With assistance of Senior Manager, trains assigned craft supervisors in safety, cost control, job skills, quality and scheduling
• Directs all phases of steel fabrication, assembly and erection, piping fabrication and installation, outfitting including the work performed by outside contractors
• Monitors the performance of assigned supervisors
• In conjunction with the Senior Manager, maintains appropriate interface and relations with customers, paying detailed attention to site requirements
• Translates company strategies into tactical plans. Creates and prioritizes necessary resources and steps required to accomplish goals on time
• Establishes all shift production schedules
• Establishes and maintains shipyard production goals to ensure production schedules are met
• Schedules and conducts shipyard meetings in conjunction with Manager and Workforce
• Ensures product quality control goals are met and maintained for shipyard
• Maintains a clean and safe work site

• Manage project scope, cost, schedule and quality of work from site preparation stage till project completion and handover to clients
• Review contract/ tender agreement and highlight the compliances or deviations of the terms & conditions and technical specifications
• Liaise with agencies, clients and manage sub-contractors
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved plans, quality standard procedure, safety requirements and in a timely manner
• Planning, scheduling and implementing project maintenance works
• Manage cost, work measurement and collection of performance data
• Ensure project technical issues are monitored and resolved

Requirements:-

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering)
• Technically skilled and knowledgeable in electrical works & installation
• Relevant experience in sustainable energy projects such as Photovoltaic, Battery Energy Storage and Electrical Vehicle Charging System
• Min 3 years of project management experience
• Leadership skill and able to lead a project team
• Good communication skill and able to interact with all levels
