Job Responsibilities: -

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Fire Protection Systems and associated mechanical and electrical equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot on Fire Protection Systems and associated mechanical and electrical equipment

Perform necessary repairs and replacement of defective items to ensure optimal performance of Fire Protection Systems

Managing of customer’s site location system and replacement

Managing site maintenance service and support

Managing customer relationships

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• At least 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshoot of Mechanical/Electrical Systems, preferably in pump systems and water tanks.
• Preferred with Fire Protection Safety background
• Able to start work immediately
• Class 3 Required (2 Years Driving Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to perform technical maintenance and repair operations on marine vessels at Singapore Anchorage, PSA Terminal, shipyards, our workshop, and on overseas assignments when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance on vessels.
• Replace or repair mechanical spare parts as needed.
• Provide technical services, including equipment installation, troubleshooting, and system overhauls.
• Adhere to industry regulations and company procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
• Work independently to organize and complete assigned tasks.

• Possess man management experience for up to 5 technicians
• Willing to work under outdoor environment on site

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering with PEB Singapore
• Candidate must have min 6 years of relevant working experience in design engineering of ACMV / HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing services with Engineering Consultancies in Singapore
• Proven track record of working across organization boundaries to define requirements, solve complex problems and drive programs to successful completion
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and local authority submission process (LTA / PUB / BCA)
• BIM and CAD capabilities (REVIT / Microstation / Autocad) will be added advantage
