• Oversee and manage the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and pipelines, in the chemical plant.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal plant performance.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical maintenance issues, such as motors, control panels, and power distribution systems, in collaboration with the electrical team.
• Supervise and coordinate with contractors for equipment overhauls, inspections, and specialized repair activities, ensuring adherence to plant standards and timelines.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining detailed records and ensuring proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Plan and execute shutdowns and turnarounds, including the scheduling of mechanical and electrical tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion.
• Recommend and support equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance plant reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, safety, and electrical departments, to maintain seamless plant operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 – 5 years of repair & maintenance experience in chemical plant
• Must be mechanical background, with knowledge and basic experience in the electrical maintenance side.
• Strong in analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient in MS office
