What will you do?
In this position, you will join our Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Lead our established team of Revit / CAD technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines; produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks and produce detailed 2D CAD general assemblies while mentoring more junior CAD employees in the use of Revit / CAD.
- Produce Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design, ensuring that all work complies with AURECON's quality control procedures and authority requirements; ensure drawing standards and protocols are maintained.
- Drafting and detailing for Mechanical & Electrical elements.
- Prepare drawings and models for authority submission in line with BCA’s template and requirements.
- Multi-disciplinary BIM coordination & collaboration in 3D environment, with implementation of all relevant codes of practice.

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:
- Min. 2-10 years of practical Autodesk Revit experience.
- Diploma in BIM Design preferred. Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Construction / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Autodesk Certified Professional is preferred; with continued advanced training in the latest / Autodesk BIM software and applications.
- Required proficiency in MS Office Suite, Autodesk CAD and REVIT, Navisworks, Autodesk Cloud Construction & BIM 360.
- Knowledge in Ideate, RTV Tools and Dynamo would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrates understanding, initiative, and proactive approach to digital delivery; well-developed communication skills including ability to perform effectively in team environment with a strong client focus to lead, train, and coach the team.
