Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate site installation works with in-house supervisor and foremen to ensure the project schedule is met
• Attending site coordinate meetings with main-con, consultants and other contractors
• Hands-on and technical assistance for ACMV system installation and troubleshooting on site
• Prepare material requisition for all ACMV equipment and materials
• Prepare work programme for ACMV works with material delivery and installation activities in accordance with the project programme
• Analyse, manage and track project costs against budget
• Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC
• Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards
• Participate in in-house engineering design works of ACMV system, including detailed design, heat load calculation, shop drawings, hydraulic calculation, duct/pipe sizing, equipment selection, etc
• Review 3D BIM model and ensure correct the installation details, compliance with design specifications and guidelines
• Participate in liaison with ACMV suppliers for quotation, carry out equipment selection, technical and commercial evaluation
• Prepare material submittals for ACMV system to the Consultant for approval
• Coordinate with project schedule in organizing Purchase Order, arrange timely delivery of all ACMV equipment and materials
• Participate in tender preparation for new projects

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in building construction industry, preferable in handling ACMV works
• Fresh graduate are welcomed to apply

About the Job:

We are looking for a talented IT Support Engineer with expertise in electronics and electrical engineering, especially with Marine Satellite Communications equipment. In this office-based role, you will deliver essential technical support to marine clients, manage Tickets requests etc. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Chief Operations Officer, providing regular updates on service delivery, operations, and technical challenges.
• Provide technical support for over 200 vessels, handling an average of 15-30 support tickets per month, primarily related to Marine Satellite Communications equipment, IT networking, and associated issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with Marine Satellite Communications systems, components, and IT networks, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
• Manage and coordinate operational and logistical tasks related to satellite communication services, including overseeing service delivery to clients.
• Assist with sales order processing, ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment of customer orders.
• Collaborate with freight forwarding companies to arrange ocean freight services, managing product shipments and ensuring all required shipping documentation is handled, including proforma invoices, Bills of Lading, Letters of Credit, certificates, and permits.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, company policies, and customer requirements while monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of support tickets, sales orders, and shipping documentation, ensuring clear communication between sales, logistics, and technical teams for seamless operations.
• Candidates without prior experience in sales order processing or shipping documentation but possessing a strong background in technical support for vessels, particularly with Marine Satellite Communications equipment or IT networking, are encouraged to apply. Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  Experience with IT networking, including familiarity with Mikrotik equipment, Cisco scripting, and Python programming.
• Prior technical support experience with the ability to handle 15-30 support tickets per month, ideally within the marine or shipping industry.
• Strong knowledge and / or experience in Marine Satellite Communications equipment highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT network-related issues, including understanding how traffic is routed.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues effectively.
• Experience in sales order processing, logistics coordination, and shipping documentation is advantageous but not essential.
