Job Responsiblities

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, conveyors, and heat exchangers.
• Diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs or replacements of piping systems, including installation, inspection, and leak detection.
• Maintenance and calibration of instruments used to monitor and control process parameters, such as pressure, temperature, and flow rate.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper alignment, connections, and functionality.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to identify potential problems. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including work orders, parts used, and repair details.
• Assist in training other technicians or apprentices.
• Managing the inventory of spare parts and tools.

Job Scope:

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in forklifts.

• Analyze and resolve operational issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks, including replacing defective parts, lubricating components, adjusting brakes, and ensuring all forklifts operate efficiently and safely.

• Source, order, and install replacement parts, coordinating with suppliers to ensure components meet quality standards.

• Conduct thorough safety checks on forklifts, inspecting brakes, steering systems, lights, and other critical safety features to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules and tracking each forklift's service history.
