Job Description:

• Provide onsite client support, assisting with troubleshooting, design, configuration, and escalated problem management.
• Act as key project team members responsible for analyzing client and technical requirements, developing specifications, designing solutions, and in some cases consulting on testing and deployment processes.
• Serve as a technology lead for specific technologies, using deep expertise to propose enhancements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client projects, interfacing with vendors to ensure successful project management and deployment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 5-8 years of professional technical experience related to software development, systems design, deployment, networking, or infrastructure within a large-scale MNC technology services environment.
• Network Design & Build: Experience designing and building complex LAN and large WAN networks.
• Routing/Switching Expertise: Strong knowledge of routing/switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, etc.
• Data Center Networking: Experience designing and building complex data center networks with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or any OpenFlow protocol.
• LAN Switches: Extensive hands-on experience with LAN switches, such as Cisco and Huawei.
• Campus Network Design: Experience designing and building complex campus networks with Software Defined Access (SDA) solutions from Cisco or other SDA vendors.
• Network Automation: Proficiency in network automation through scripting (e.g., Python, Ruby) or tools (e.g., Ansible, Algosec, Chef).
• Network Security: Experience designing and building network security solutions, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL.
• Content Networking: Familiarity with content networking solutions such as load balancers (F5), cache, etc.
• Network Management Tools: Experience using tools like ServiceNow and SolarWinds for network operations management.
• Standby: Rotational standby duty required.

• Monitor the quality of extrusion fabrication outputs and safety of extrusion operations
• Trains and reinforces employees on machine operation, safety and company policies
• Inspect fabrication outputs to check for inconsistencies and deviations from established quality standards
• Maintains fabrication workflow, processes and types of machinery
• Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines
• Ensures that production is being accomplished as per production schedule and specifications
• Monitor team and work procedures to meet production schedules
• Provide direction for project tasks and hold all team members accountable for safety, quality and production
• Conduct daily briefing with the crew to review production goals and performance feedback

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a production engineer in a construction or manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of extrusion procedures, equipment, and WSH guidelines
• Able to read and interpret construction blueprints and shop drawings.
• Problem-solving abilities
• Able to use a variety of material handling and fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide project planning schedule, monitor, review and update project progress throughout the project execution, to ensure timely completion.
• Manage the Review of Detail Design by EPC Contractors.
• Visit construction sites and attend client/contractor progress meetings in order to have working knowledge of current project status and issues
• Monitor the entire spectrum of works right from Engineering to Procurement to Construction until Commissioning completion.
• To resolve issues and provide technical solutions when the need arises.
• Manage project changes, budgets, qualities and timelines'

Meet the requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
• Certified by Project Management Institute as Project Management Professional.
• Completed Ministry of Manpower Singapore Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (CSCPM).
• Minimum job experience as project manager in successfully completed 2 transmission cable or infrastructure projects of similar contract value within 8 years. Candidates with more than 10 years of experience may be considered for Senior Project Manager position
• Minimum 4 years of experience in transmission cable or major infrastructure projects
• Familiar with all statutory regulations and requirements pertaining to transmission cable projects.
• Familiar with work scope, work sequence, method statement of transmission cable works.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Independent and able to interface with Client/ Government Agencies / Contractors
• Knowledge in Programming & Scheduling, Risk Management, Environment Health and Safety Plan and ISO documentation
• Candidates with working experience in other countries in SE Asia would also be considered
