Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: $4,000 - $6,000 (depend on experience)

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 830am - 6:15pm

Working Location: Woodlands

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our team, leading the design and development of our products from concept to production. Your focus will be on driving innovation, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, playing a key role within the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
• Design high precision and high-tech automation equipment, ensuring that it meets performance, quality, and reliability standards.
• Select components such as servo axes and robots based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with fabrication houses and component suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and components.
• Guide assembly technicians in building and testing the equipment, ensuring that it meets design specifications and performance requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement of our products.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in mechanical engineering and automation technology.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or related field preferred.
• Min 6 years of relevant experience in automation equipment design.
• Knowledge and experience in factory automation is an advantage.
• Experience in electrical, pneumatic, and sensor component selections.
• Proficient in SolidWorks 3D software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

• Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and ensure accurate engineering databases.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Min 12 - 20 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry, with exposure in LNG industry.
