Assistant Manager (Student Programme Management and Operations)

About the Client

Key Responsibilities:

Student Services and Operations:

• Manage a comprehensive range of student services, including orientations, pre-enrolment activities, and attendance monitoring.
• Resolve escalated issues related to student visas, permits, and other concerns in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Oversee student progression activities such as re-modules, re-exams, deferments, withdrawals, and programme transfers.
• Ensure accurate student records are maintained across systems, including updates for visa renewals and fee payments.
• Plan and coordinate examinations, ensuring smooth operations and timely graduations.

Financial Oversight:

• Monitor student payments beyond initial fees and follow up on outstanding amounts.
• Assist with budget planning and ensure efficient cost management through timely processing of refunds and credit notes.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including EduTrust, ISO, and other quality standards.
• Support audits and maintain high service standards across all operational functions.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise a team of Programme Executives, fostering efficient operations and meeting organizational objectives.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Handle escalated complaints, liaise with corporate partners, and provide counseling to students as needed.
• Perform other duties as required to support organizational goals.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with resource optimization tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with higher education qualifications and private education operations preferred.
• Flexible to work rostered shifts if required.

Job Purpose:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide translation and interpretation from Japanese to English, and vice versa:
