Job Description

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible to develop the Site in Singapore to create better utilization and cost efficiency of the assets by supporting, acquiring and leading Site enhancement projects within own site and external users.

The Senior Manager, Payment Solutions Asia Pacific (excl. China) reports to the Senior Director Finance Systems & Shared Services and plays a key leadership role within our finance organization. This position will support the Senior Director focusing on managing hotel credit card payment processes, optimizing payment solutions, and ensuring efficient financial transactions for guests and the organization.

The role is responsible for:

• Support the payment solutions strategic planning as part of the global project “Integrated Payment Gateway and Tokenization” for approximately 500 properties across 20 countries.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Cluster Director of Finance, the Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring timely & accurate financial reporting according to accounting standards and in line with the Hotel’s policy & procedures.

What you will be DOING:

· Oversee the Finance and Accounting department of the hotel.

· Ensure that the books, records and accounts are maintained accurately and fairly reflect the transactions and administration of the assets of the hotel.

· Devise and maintain a system of internal accounting control sufficient to ensure that transactions are executed in accordance with Management’s general and specific authorisation and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and specific legislation.

· Assist in the preparation of the hotel’s yearly operating budget

· Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.

· Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

· Provide insights and recommendations to the hotel management for strategic decision-making.

· Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

· Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

· Collaborate with department heads to create departmental budgets and monitor expenditures.

· Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard hotel assets.

· Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

· Oversee cash handling processes, including the management of petty cash and cash flow projections.

· Monitor bank balances and reconcile accounts regularly.

· Supervise the use of financial software and systems, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry.

· Provide training and support to staff members on financial procedures and systems.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

· Work with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.

· Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support.

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

· Follow all workplace safety and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries and incidents to reporting manager immediately.

· Participate and contribute actively in all Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives organised by the Hotel.

· Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Your experience and skills include:

· Degree/Diploma in Accounting / Finance or equivalent

· Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) will be an added advantage

· Minimum 5 years of Accounting / Finance or relevant experience in a supervisory capacity

· Familiar with the hospitality industry and knowledge in Oracle Cloud and SunSystem is an added advantage.

· Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications especially Excel

1. Contract management in delivery phase as an administrator.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil /Building Engineering or Construction Management.
2. Working experience over 20 years in relevent discipline in construction industry and working in contractor's side is preferable.
3. Managing team members in routine daily task.
4. Deep understanding of contracts, contract governance and contractual terminology in construction field.
5. Superior reading, writing and language skills.
6. Capable of professionally managing confidential information.
7. Excellant skill in negotiation with external parties in contractual claim issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing and providing technical support solutions on the project

2. Working closely with Contracts and QS team in analyzing and evaluating sub‐contractors planning and reporting submission.

3. Preparing slide presentations prior to design submissions.

4. Preparing manpower and machinery schedule.

5. Project plan scheduling with relevant software to meet the milestone as specified by the client.

6. Preparing the write‐up / method statement on construction sequence and other requirements as stated in the contract

Requirements:

1. At least 2 years' working experience on large scale constrctuion project with a main contractor in a technical capacity such as engineering, project management, planning, etc.

2. At lease 3 years's working experience in design coordination of multi‐disciplinary infracstrucure project, involving civil and structural, geotechnical, electrical and mechanical, process, etc.

3. Good command of English.

We are a local SME company specialising in pioneering mechanical engineering solutions for façade access and working at height scenarios. We are seeking to find a motivated individual to fill the position of Engineering Manager. This is an exciting position that combines both engineering and project management capabilities.

Your tasks will include:

· Monitoring the daily progress of projects under your care while updating the project reports and forecasting future works.

· Checking fabrication and construction shop drawings for correctness.

· Creating engineering calculations and liaising with fabrication and construction draftsman as well as third party PE.

· Attending technical and site coordination meetings.

· Managing client relationship through the life cycle of projects by overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.

· Ensuring monthly submissions of claims for work done including preparation of monthly progress report with photographs from the site team.

· Creating additional works/variation orders, and preparing variation claims.

· Monitor and overview manage site labour, equipment and material for site activities from the site manager.

· Coordinating with our factory Manager and QAQC department for the delivery of our fabricated works and planning the installation.

· Ensuring works are carried out in accordance to the method of statement and ensuring that these comply to fit-for-use requirements.

Our Engineering Manager should possess these qualities and skills

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in mechanical design including producing drawings and calculations relating to structural steel and powered drive mechanisms.
• Proficient knowledge in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Basic proficiency in using Autocad for drafting
• Good time management and able to work independently and as a team with good prioritization skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

TECHNICAL MANAGER Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical expert for detailed design and construction aspects of the project

• Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the internal team members, client, consulting engineers and contractors

• Perform expediting actions in sourcing technical information, submission of data/method statement for installation, delivery and transport of materials/equipment, storage and issuance for site installation works

• Prepare detailed installation plans, methodology, processes and procedures for support of construction team

• Propose and oversee timelines for engineering proposals and submissions are met

• Check and confirm the accuracy of submissions from contractors, vendors and suppliers for the work to be performed, coordinate and ensure approvals are received from client in timely manner

• Set up procedure and processes in monitoring and tracking of engineering related documentation throughout project lifestyle

• Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors

• Prepare and deliver various installation/erection or construction related presentations, both internally and externally

• Identify and maintain compliance to relevant WHS, Environmental & other acts, regulations, codes of practices & guidelines etc.
• Audit SQE Management System, including reviewing, monitoring, measuring, reporting on performance.
• Recommend and implement continual improvement to the SQE system, work instructions and associated processes.
• Promoting awareness of SQE requirements, communicating and consulting with all staff & other stakeholders on SQE processes, documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Development and implementation of SQE documentation relevant but not limited to procedures, plans, hazard and aspect identification, risk assessments, emergency preparedness & response, design & development, management of change, control measures, management review including ad hoc measures based on current environmental occurrences.
• Actively lead & participate in Operational Safety, Process Safety, Risk Assessment, HAZOPs, Pre-Purchase Risk Assessments, Management of Change & Design & Development, SQE incident investigation & root cause analysis and processes.
• Active participation and collaborating to provide SQE / technical advise as required to the Lab Team, Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, Rapid Recovery and wider A-Gas Group & other relevant stakeholders.
