• Evaluate improvement opportunities and proposed solutions for automation projects
• Collaborate with Central Automation team to drive the development of automation strategy, in-line with overall Micron Backend Business objectives.
• Evaluate improvement ideas based on return on investment, quality and safety/ergonomics improvement.

• Support all automation projects in the site to get necessary resources, i.e. funding and resources by collaborating with internal and external partners, notably IE, IT, BEAUTO, KEG and ES.
• Collaborate with grant team in various government grant execution, communication, audit and administration.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Assembly/Test automation shift, ensuring all equipment and tools are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Manage a team of Automation Engineers, technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of automation processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the automation shift operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s /Master’s in engineering or Science fields
• At least 5 years of work experience in physical automation/ data engineering and related engineering field
• Proven ability in managing direct reports (leadership role) with experience in building new teams desired
• Practical experience working with AMHS (Automated Material Handling Systems), equipment automation
• Practical knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and Dispatch/Scheduling tool in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Contractual and commercial awareness
• Proven ability in project and/or program management
• Excellent analytical, fact-based decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.

Job Requirements

•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

•At least 8 years of experience in construction project management, specifically diaphragm wall construction

•Proven track record managing large-scale civil or infrastructure projects

•Familiarity with local building regulations, environmental and safety standards

•Strong Knowledge of diaphragm wall construction techniques and equipment

•Proficient in project management software

•Knowledge of budgeting, cost control and financial management of projects

•Effective communication, stakeholder, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

•Experience working with government agencies or large infrastructure clients;

•Required to travel to construction sites and work in both office and field environments.
