• Develop and maintain a strong business relationships with existing/new customers as well as product principals
• Develop sales and marketing strategies with an action plan to penetrate into new markets
• Source and develop new customer accounts and expand business opportunities
• Keep track of market trends, competitor offerings and conduct regular market updates
• Preparation of proposals, tenders and quotations based on project requirements and close monitoring of project execution to optimize profitability and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Able to market company portfolio to potential customers
• Able to identify, plan and execute new projects
• Able to interact well with all levels of our customer’s organizational structure to ensure projects are being carried out on schedule
• Achieve sales revenue, profitability and sales growth targets set by the Management
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of M&E working experience in the building construction industry, preferably with an electro-mechanical background in Industrial Automation or electrical control sector
• Able to communicate well in English and Chinese as to liaise with relevant counterparts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
• Good in coordination, documentation and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Possess own vehicle would be an added advantage

About the Role

CLUSTER HEAD (MEDIA SOLUTIONS)

This role is a mid/senior-level position responsible for overseeing and managing media solutions and advertising sales for a specific sector/ industry within SPH. The sector lead is tasked with driving strategic growth of the sector they are responsible for. They provide guidance and support to a team of professionals working within the sector and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, partners and internal departments. The sector lead is expected to possess strong industry knowledge, leadership skills, business acumen and the ability to analyze market dynamics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, technology advancement and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities for the sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sector, such as developing partnerships or exploring innovative product/ service offerings.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for the sector, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of SPH.
• Identify gaps and develop solutions for efficient and effective implementation of internal process and campaign performance metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate sector performance against established goals and KPIs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients and industry partners.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to new members within the team

Who we are looking for

• A degree in Marketing or Business.
• 12 years of sales and marketing experience preferably in the media industry.
• Those with experience in managing clients from the Banking, Technology, and/or Telecommunication Sectors will have an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience functioning at supervisory level.
• Effectively bilingual.
• Ability to conceptualise, strategise, present and execute creative ideas.
• Outgoing, resourceful and self-motivated.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
