The role as a Investment Management Trainee will be to develop good relations with clients and learn to expand your network with them on various financial matters.

Manage and make critical decisions on client’s investment portfolio, advice on matters relating to asset management - mortgage financing etc.

Responsibilities

-Learn and chart out investment objectives for clienteles using their CPF and Cash portfolios.

-Trainee will also be taught to utilise DISC Personality Assessment and Enneagram to improve your communication with clients.

-Understand and balance risk vs rewards across different financial instruments (from bonds to derivatives like options/futures etc

- Building long term relationships with our clients.

- Underwrite, analyze and close finance deals.

Key Responsibilities:

2. Training and Development:

3. Operations Management:

• Participate in visual merchandising to ensure displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with brand standards

4. Team Leadership:

• Develop leadership skills by supervising and motivating sales associates to achieve store goals.
• Assist in scheduling, ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak times.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members, offering constructive feedback.

5. Performance and Reporting:

• Assist in tracking store performance, including sales, customer feedback, and inventory levels.

6. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

• Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0-2 years of experience in retail or customer service , fresh graudates with interest within the industry are welcomed to apply.

Role Summary

This role entails the oversight of brand sales KPI and category management within Singapore. It involves managing relationships with suppliers located overseas, specifically in China, Europe, and the USA. There will be regular meetings, both online and face-to-face. This includes facilitating training sessions, coordinating meetings, and hosting lunches for visiting suppliers in Singapore.

Role Description

• Primary responsibility is to manage supplier brands originating from China, Europe, and the USA, overseeing their sales and product categories including dry food, wet food, treats, toys and accessories. Have continual collaboration with suppliers on new product introductions and product discontinuations to accommodate new products.
• Competitive price checks are essential to ensure our pricing remains competitive in the market
• Regular meetings online and offline to update suppliers on sales performance, fostering strong relationships
• Organize training sessions and meetings, as well as hosting supplier lunches when they are in Singapore
• Gather marketing assets from suppliers for website uploads
• Planning promotions to clear existing inventory
• Coordinating with Marketing for digital product launches
• Monitoring franchise costs in Singapore to adhere to predefined percentages, and sharing new products with Malaysia corporate stores and overseas franchise teams
• Collate orders from these regions and liaise with planners accordingly
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Role Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Business Management / Administration, Commerce or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in procurement of buying activities within the FMCG
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word - VLOOKUP & Pivot tables, PowerPoint)
• Must demonstrate the capability to conduct meetings with suppliers independently.
