Our Deal Advisory practice provides holistic client solutions in relation to acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, buy-outs, market entry, financing, and other M&A transactions. We advise clients on their deal strategy and assist to create value by identifying and delivering upsides and opportunities from their Deals. Our clients include global and regional Private Equity firms and Corporates.

The Role
- You will be part of a multi-disciplinary Deal Advisory team, assisting our client in the context of an M&A transaction, and can be either a buy-side or a sell-side engagement
- Your focus will be to deliver the deal strategy and value creation projects, which may include target business due diligence (focus on commercial and operational value aspects), value creation aspects of an investment thesis, portfolio company value creation, planning and implementation support for clients, portfolio strategy, and exit planning and support to maximise value
- You will work closely with the Partners and Directors, in managing the client and take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the project or scope areas, and planned deliverables
- You will be leading and guiding your team members, in developing hypotheses, planning and performing data analysis, reviewing business plans, designing, and developing solutions for meeting the client requirements
- You will work collaboratively with other advisory teams in Singapore as well as other member firms in the region and globally, on project delivery and business development
- You will make a key contribution to business development. This may include providing input into horizon scanning activities, building relationships with key management personnel and decision makers, and supporting proposals and client presentations
- You will contribute to bringing cutting edge value creation concepts and strategies to clients and lead innovation in core area of functional or sector expertise
- As you establish your career in the team and develop as a role model for colleagues, you will progress into the next level, making a significant contribution to the development of our practice
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of experience in Consulting (Deal Advisory, Management Consulting or Restructuring) or In-house Corporate roles (Strategy, M&A, Commercial or Operational), with 1 to 2 years of experience in Value Creation or Performance Improvement projects
- Exposure to M&A, Private Equity or Due Diligence processes
- Experience of one or more sectors – Financial Services, Technology, Healthcare, Retail, Consumer, Telecom, Media, Infrastructure, Energy, Industrial Products
- Experience of one or more functional areas – roles in Customer & Channel, Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, Operations, Logistics etc.
- Strong academic background, and qualifications such as MBA, ACA, CFA, CIMA or equivalent or advanced qualifications in data analytics is desirable
- Fluency in English, with excellent written, oral communication
- Good presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and solutions
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to interpret data and generate insights; financial modelling skills is desirable
- Ability to work with different levels of people in the team and at our clients, along with proven team leadership skills
- Willingness to travel, if required
