Responsibilties

• Driving strategic transformation business initiatives for the Private Capital business across all strategies in collaboration with the APAC business stakeholders
• ⁠Partnering with strategic clients in making digital portal products client-relevant, market-aligned and industry-leading
• Play a critical role in defining and delivering the Private Capital business development roadmap.
• Work closely with the Private Capital business teams in various locations in APAC, including operation teams and product solution teams.
• Partner with clients in understanding their requirements for the digital portals and promote ongoing impactful upgrades to the digital portals.
• Contribute significantly to the improvement & initiatives of the processes in the global eco-system, support the digital portal journey and implement change in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• Good understanding of the business, including: Fund Administration, Loan Administration, Investor Services, encompassing all Private Capital strategies including: Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure and Real Estate.
• More than 3 years of relevant experience in the fields of Private Capital fund administration (Operations or IT ideally)
• Experienced with eFront Invest solutions (Operations, IT Support, Business Analyst, etc…)

Requirements:

· At least 5 years of banking experience as either banker, investment consultant or product specialist and has an established network of individual HNW clientele (AI clients)

· Track record in asset development, asset growth and revenue generation

· Strong product knowledge in wealth management and able to effectively advise clients on investment portfolio

· Has high standards of professional integrity

· Understand clients’ background and drive the Know Your Customer due diligence as a first line of defence, to fulfil related compliance and internal requirements

Scope and responsibilities:

· Must obtain and maintain necessary MAS licenses and CPD requirements (CACS, RNF and MAS certification)

UWCSEA East is looking for a Teacher of Economics and Business Management from August 2025.

The appointee will ideally be able to teach IBDP Economics, our bespoke UWC Economics course which is designed for grade 9 and 10 students, and potentially IBDP Business Management at UWCSEA East Campus. Experience and enthusiasm for teaching the IB Diploma Theory of Knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential.

Main Responsibilities

Teachers will:

• Contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the Economics/Business Department, Humanities Faculty and broader High School teams.
• Construct learning experiences that challenge students, support the diversity of learners in each classroom and demonstrate a strong commitment to concept-based teaching and learning.
• Ensure that assessments support ongoing learning and provide timely, relevant and appropriate feedback to students formatively and summatively.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management that shows an understanding of the academic, social and emotional dimensions and needs of learners.
• Keep parents informed about the learning of their children and be proactive in communicating with parents.

Person Specifications

• A degree within the sphere of Economics/Business and a teaching qualification are prerequisites.
• Experience or interest in curriculum development is advantageous.
• Extensive experience of teaching IBDP Economics and in supporting the learning of G9 and 10 students with regard to Economics.
• Experience of teaching IBDP Business Management would be desirable.
• An ability to engage with students and to engender enthusiasm for learning. This is a prerequisite for teaching at UWCSEA.
• Willing and eager to participate in the five key elements of a UWCSEA education: Academic; Personal & Social Education; Service; Activities; Outdoor Education.
• Enthusiasm to participate in Professional Development, both that which is mandated by the College and that which is identified by the teacher.
• Pastoral leadership of a mentor group in Grades 9-12.
• On average, an annual contribution of two sessions per week to Activities and/or Service projects.
• Participation in the curricular Outdoor Education experiences which are relevant to their students and a willingness to occasionally volunteer for Outdoor Education trips during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for tender and quotation updates.
• Liaise with Procurement and Contract Managers on requests.
• Renew maintenance contracts, overseeing the entire process from approval to award.
• Prepare letters of award and compile contract documentation.
• Coordinate contract commencement meetings with vendors.
• Conduct final account assessments before contract expiry.
• Manage and maintain records of maintenance contracts.
• Analyze contractor assessment results and coordinate vendor management with Facilities Managers.
• Assist with audits and reporting related to contracts and vendors.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned and support team members.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in contract management / procurement in building facilities/ services related.
• Experience in dealing with tender management (e.g. calling tender, tender evaluation, and tender award).
• Candidates with Quantity Surveying background is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and budgeting.
• Team player, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with e-sourcing tools like Ariba, Acubuy, and SAP is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
