• Design High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures for IAMS.
• Prepare artifacts for data flow design diagrams with all use case diagrams which covers data modelling between IAMS and target applications.
• Perform data migration impact analysis and identify the solutions in new system.
• Develop new custom connectors related to Rest/Soap API
• Prepare a detailed deployment/ cut over plan with perfect go-live strategy which covers all the teams and all other dependent impacting (source and target) applications team’s activities.
• Co-ordinate with Change management team and implement change requests.
• After go-live, periodically review the system processes, quality of system results and update the weekly, monthly quarterly status reports to customer stake holders.
• Provide regular status updates to customer and technically lead the entire program to supervise, direct, implement and deliver the activities of entire team.

We are currently seeking a well-qualified Director to grow our team in Singapore. You will be in charge of multiple projects at a time, fronting client interactions, developing service offerings, managing and growing our team, leading cross-border teams from around the world to deliver projects, and maintaining and growing our client and intra-firm relationships.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Executing and delivering a wide range of projects in conjunction with the PwC Tax, Assurance and Advisory practices in Singapore, as well as with our regional and global network of WMS teams.
• Client projects require knowledge of customs valuation & classification, Free Trade Agreements, import / export compliance, customs & trade technology and trade strategy development. Candidates will be expected to identify potential opportunities to improve trade efficiency and savings as well as improvements in compliance.
• Candidates will be expected to assume a proactive role in planning and executing practice improvements, business development, and other initiatives to develop and create opportunities for the WMS business and its people.

About you

• You have at least 15 years of customs and trade professional experience in consulting or in industry.
• You have a proven track record in managing a team of customs and trade professionals.
• You have both board and deep technical knowledge of customs and trade rules and regulations.
• You are able to work effectively in a fast paced, highly demanding and ever changing environment.
• Foreign language ability is a plus.
• You desire to commit to growing your career in the field of customs and international trade.
