MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid MOE registration
- Competent to handle the tasks and responsibilities assigned
- Have preferably 3 years of coaching experience in Infocomm Media Club CCA (must provide a list of current and past training conducted for similar programme from 1 Jan 2021)
- Instructors who are trained in and preferably have 3 years of experience in conducting photography and videography workshops in the school context preferred
Contract Period: 1 Mar 2025 to 28 Feb 2026 with option to extend until 28 Feb 2027
Working hours: Mondays, 2-4pm excluding public holidays, school holidays and CCA stand down period for exams. The Authority may request for additional training session(s) for key milestone events.
Job Description:
- Enable students to develop skills and competencies in photography and videography through practical training
- Inspire creativity by encouraging students to explore different composition techniques and artistic expression in visual media
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds
- Deepen students’ sense of belonging, commitment, and sense of responsibility to the school and community
- Teach students to use basic photography, videography, and simple editing techniques to create photo and video stories; use basic photography, videography, and simple editing techniques to create photo and video stories; demonstrate the values of respect and responsibility by taking care of the equipment, using editing tools carefully, and working harmoniously with their classmates during creative tasks
- Originate and develop a 30-week programme and CCA action plan for Primary 4 students. (i.e. lesson plans, pedagogy, teaching materials, scheme of work) to meet or conform to the expectations defined by the School
- Originate and develop a 30-week programme and CCA action plan for Primary 5 students. (i.e. lesson plans, pedagogy, teaching materials, scheme of work) to meet or conform to the expectations defined by the School
- Originate and develop a 14-week programme and CCA action plan for 2026 Primary 6 students. (i.e. lesson plans, pedagogy, teaching materials, scheme of work) to meet or conform to the expectations defined by the School
- Originate and develop a 3-week CCA programme and action plan for P3 Modular CCA. Each cycle will consist of 3 sessions, the lessons should be the same for all cycles. (i.e. lesson plans, pedagogy, teaching materials, scheme of work) to meet or conform to the expectations defined by the School
- Plan and execute a selection process during the P3 modular CCA programme to select suitable students for the CCA
- Accompany the students on photo walks during the training sessions and provide students with feedback after each cycle
- Discuss proposed ideas or revisions with the HOD PE/CCA and/or CCA Teacher-in-charge
- Review and report learning outcomes and other curricular materials via needs assessment and feasibility study
- Provide feedback and make recommendations on items that need to be changed/completed
- Work with the Teacher in-charge to motivate students and develop students’ passion and creativity in the activities
- Conduct eCCA when the need arises
- Attend any CCA briefing conducted by the school
- Provision of cameras used during P4 and P5 training sessions to be included
