1. Check repaired / overhauled history of components and determine the workscope to perform.

2. Update and maintain database of all the additional requirements from customers to be performed on specific components. Inform workshop to perform these additional requirements for the specific components.

3. Track and update the status of all sub-components that are sent to outhouse vendors. Follow up with outhouse vendors on any queries related to these sub-components.

4. Monitor the availability of all spares that are indicated in Bill of Materials for all workshops.

5. Work closely with SIA and SIAEC Materials Requirement Planning Teams to provision sufficient spares to support operations.

6. Provide regular reports on the performance of outhouse vendors and inhouse workshop.

7. Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Polytechnic Diploma in engineering or relevant quantitative disciplines

This is a full role for an Air Operation Officer located in Changi. Our client provides full-fledged freight forwarders offering full inter-model transportation services for both inbound and outbound cargos. Your responsibility involves managing import operations, including awaiting pre-alerts to handle cargo release or delivery arrangements. Responsibilities include inspecting cargo at the warehouse for discrepancies and consulting the team leader for further instructions. The role requires regular communication with customers and overseas agents, monitoring emails, and handling customs-related tasks such as pre-declaring permits and submitting shipment details via the CCN system to Singapore Customs. Additional duties include billing, email correspondence, and other air import operations tasks, with a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum GCE N/O Level
• Good in MS Office – word, excel, PowerPoint

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and assign equipment operators for aircraft pushback/towing, water/toilet servicing and supply of GSE equipment.
• Liaise with IGO/Maintrol/CEG for aircraft towing and other utilities servicing activities.
• Liaise with Equipment Maintenance team on equipment requirements/shortages.
• Maintain regular walkie-talkie communication with the equipment operators to ensure punctual departure of flights and any other changes in assignment for any services.
• Attend to customers’ requests/complaints (where necessary).
• Update the duty supervisor on any delay.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Higher Nitec / Diploma in Aviation or Aircraft Mgt
• Candidates who are proficient in SAP and Microsoft Applications will have an advantage
• Must be able to perform 12 hour rotating shift works

1. Assist in the AirHub project where you are involved in the following not limited to:
   -Preparation and issuance of transfer letters
   -Coordinate with different business units on the collection of documents to faciliate Work Pass Application, including medical checks for foreign workers
   -Follow up with medical provider on the medical reports for foreign workers
   -Airport pass application for all employees involved in the transfer
2. Data Entries Clean-up
   -Job Titles updates - prepare the mass upload templates
   -Assist with OCR - Education update and previous Employment History - train the system and test out the various cert.
   -Date to Grade with Job events report to tally staff movement
   -AO & Mgr CCL/ECL reports - ways to combine the report for Gov Claims
   -Cancellation Report - ways to get the verification with TAMS, Staff Departure
3. Recruiting & Onboarding
   -Assist in system User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new recruitment and onboarding system
   -Assist to capture meeting minutes/discussion pointers and email to meeting recipient(s) post meeting.
   -Assist the team with recruitment and onboarding task when required.
   -Support in Recruitment fairs on weekday/weekend.
