Customer Service Officers (Full-time, Parkway Parade)

The Write Connection is a premier learning centre in Singapore. Our Customer Service Officers (CSOs) are among the best in the industry as we hold them to high standards to deliver premium service to our customers.

Work Hours

Full-time employees must work a 5-day week, including a weekend. Your work schedule is pegged to the center's operation hours and operational needs. As a general rule, you will work the following hours:

• Weekdays: 12.30pm to 9.30pm (inclusive of one hour's meal break)
• Saturday or Sunday: 8.30am to 6.30pm (inclusive of one hour's meal break)
• 1 weekday off; 1 rest day
• +/- 2-hour meeting per week

Work Location

Work location is subject to operational needs. You need to be comfortable with travelling to branches around Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Customer Service

• Explain our courses, education philosophy and pedagogy to potential customers
• Promote TWC programmes to potential and existing customers
• Build relationships with our customers
• Handle phone and email queries effectively and promptly
• Perform and manage sales transaction effectively and promptly

Administrative Duties

• Arrange replacement lessons for students, and appointments for parents, Centre Management or teachers
• Responsible for center's inventory and simple logistics
• Other administrative and ad hoc duties, e.g. filing documents

Job Requirements

• Have minimum GCE 'O' levels qualifications
• Possess at least 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service-related job roles, preferably in enrichment centers settings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Candidates who are proficient with MacBook and G-Suites (e.g. Drive, Gmail, Docs, and Sheets) would have added advantage
• Possess excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Able to display effective and efficient customer service abilities
• Possess good work ethics (e.g. Integrity, professionalism, committed to excellence)
• Willing to be trained according to TWC ethos and SOPs
• Able to work independently and also a team player
• Open to be deployed at other centers due to work exigencies

Responsibilities:

· Generate and send Statement of accounts to clients

· Attend and handle of clients’ dispute

· Monitor credit limits for clients and reporting of delinquent accounts timely

· Send reminder letters for overdue accounts to clients

· Propose suspension or termination of credit facilities for poor credit worthiness accounts

· Preparation of monthly debtors aging reports

· Perform filing & monitoring of Proof Of Debt (POD) for liquidated companies

· Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity

· Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries

· Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables

· Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management

· Undertake account reconciliations as required

· Engage with cross-functional teams to improve customers’ payment cycle, facilitate solutions and improve processes.

· Conduct aged balance review with HOD and follow up review actions.

· Other duties as delegated from time to time by management

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience in credit management

· Candidate with SAP system experience would be an advantage

· Meticulous and accurate

· A team player with good interpersonal & communication skill and ability to work independently

Job Purpose:

The Accounting and Payroll Officer is responsible for delivering precise and timely financial information and reports to support informed decision-making. This role entails managing accounting and payroll services for CSLB clients, contributing to the efficient operations of the CSLB Asia team and its clientele.

Organization Chart:

This position reports to the Managing Director, Carol Liao.

Key Result Areas / Accountabilities:

Financial and Payroll Role:

1. In charge of maintaining full sets of books for a portfolio of clients including preparing payments, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, raising journals and preparing financial reports in the Xero accounting system

2. Provide monthly or quarterly management accounts for CSLB clients.

3. Perform general bookkeeping using cloud-based accountancy platforms including Xero and Quickbooks.

4. . Work with clients to provide monthly payroll instructions and manage and execute the end-to-end payroll process, including data input and validation. Manages full cycle of monthly payroll which includes mid-month payroll, end month payroll and CPF submission.

5. Manages payroll-related enquires and resolves any discrepancies.

6. Submission of tax clearance, yearly income tax, government paid leave, NS claims and other government claims.

7. Complete tax filing, including GST returns, for CSLB clients.

8. Prepare financial statements following ACRA guidelines for annual return filing for new and existing clients.

9. Address financial inquiries by gathering and analysing financial data as and when requested by CSLB clients.

10. Provide financial guidance by studying operational practices and developing recommendations.

11. Stay updated on job knowledge by staying current with financial regulations and best practices, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining professional networks.

Essential Know-How:

1. Possess a diploma in Accountancy, Human Resource or related filed.

2. Minimum of 1 years of experience in finance and accountancy.

3. Proficiency in online cloud-based accountancy and payroll systems.

4. Exhibit high integrity and honesty in all professional matters and competent English speaking and writing skills.

5. Be an independent, diligent, and meticulous worker capable of collaborating with the CSLB team.

This is a 01 year contract position attached to a Community Club.

Location: Tampines area

Job Scope

-Process payment, refund and receipt of transaction

-Carry out timely preparation approval and submission of monthly and yearly statement of accounts

-Ensure timely preparation of monthly and yearly statement of accounts for endorsement

-Ensure compliance with government procurement and financial procedures

-Assist to develop internal checks and control, SOPs and template to facilitate effective operation of the accounts

-Assist in customer service and administrative duties as/when required

Requirements

-O Level /LCCI Accounting or Diploma

-Preferably with relevant experience

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, 5 day week

Once a month, one Sunday will be scheduled for closing of month end account.

• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server latest versions, Windows Server, and IIS

• Familiar with Team Foundation Server

• Knowledge on RPA programming will be advantage

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or higher qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of IT relevant experience in software development or healthcare industry.

Additional Information

Job Responsibilities:

• Determine the acceptability of samples with guidelines and prepare specimens for analysis
• Perform laboratory tests as stated in the standard procedure manual
• Co-ordinate general workflow and prioritise laboratory requests according to Stat, Urgent and Routine
• Able to operate and calibrate most laboratory instruments
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments
• Validate the accuracy of laboratory data
• Perform new procedures as directed

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma/Degree in Medical Technology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Science
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Clinical Laboratory
• A team player with initiative and adaptive to changes
• Willing to work on PH, Weekends and Night.
