Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in purchasing related role
• Supply Chain/Procurement certification or other professional qualification
• Good customer service, communication and time management skills
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programmes (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc)
• Knowledge in the Government Procurement Instruction Manuals, GeBIZ and WorkDay is preferred
• Proficient with government procurement platforms (e.g. GeBIZ, WorkDay) including, but not limited to:
  • Creating/ amending / closing POs on both platforms
  • Troubleshooting errors on both platforms
• Organised and meticulous

Job Description:

• Sourcing and procurement: Finding and acquiring new products to meet business needs, and building relationships with suppliers
• Purchase orders: Preparing and issuing purchase orders accurately and on time
• Inventory management: Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock replenishment, and overseeing stock aging
• Reporting: Preparing detailed reports and updates as required
• Market trends: Staying updated on market trends and competitor strategies
• Collaboration: Collaborating with internal stakeholders and addressing potential issues
• Billing: Being responsible for the billing process, including recognizing cost and issuing selling invoices
• Packaging inventory: Managing packaging inventory and coordinating with operations for timely supply
• Cost reduction: Participating in cost reduction initiatives
• Data entry: Data entry, purchasing reporting, gathering data, market analysis, and information of commodities
