Brief Job Description Summary:

The successful candidate will be supporting platform layer to centralize and abstract infrastructure issues away from application teams, which provides powerful and safe tools to develop and deploy GenAI use cases in a secured and consistent manner.

Work with developers and business users to ensure platform have good DX and able to meet the AI needs of the users.

Skill set good to have:

• Experience in full SPA stack i.e. Webpack, Tailwind CSS, Ant Design, Docker will be an added advantage.
• Hands on experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Scrum and Kanban.
• Good team player who is keen to learn, independent, and with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate in understanding business requirements and use technology to transform or improve current state.
• Familiar with and possess strong interest to learn about current and emerging technology landscapes.

Mandatory Requirements: Key Skills and Experience:

• Possess a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Hands-on technical skill with good competencies in ReactJS and FE tooling.
• Hands-on experience in SPA and automated FE tooling/testing (Github Actions).

Software Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, modifying, and implementing new or existing software products. Duties include liaising with the senior software developers, technical development manager, writing clean, scalable code, creating testing protocols, fixing bugs, and deploying programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce fully functional web and mobile applications and write clean code
• Development, implementation, configuration, support, maintenance and security of IT software and applications
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high-availability and performance
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code and improve the quality of the code
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or a combination of related experience and education
• At least 2 years of proven working experience in Java development
• Experience in software implementation, requirements gathering, systems analysis and functional design
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java or J2EE or Java Web Applications or Angular, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Google GWT, Struts1

As part of the Technical Service Delivery Team, the role serves as a frontline professional that involves;

1. Participates in project implementation in the supporting role. Such as performing on-site survey, requirements gathering and work as a proxy between the client and the participating project managers, consultants and software development team during the system life cycle. He/she shall also ensure that the relevant documentations are up-to-date.

2. Provides technical configuration, test and commissioning of IoTs devices or equipments

3. Conducts end-user training in person or via remote audio/video conference tools

4. Provide application/system support to systems that is already deployed and handle technical service request/feedback from clients.

5. Ensure that all requests/feedbacks received adhere to service SOP and that support request tickets are closed on a timely manner

6. Participate in the research and evaluation of evolving new technology such as IoTs devices and tools, etc. that may be relevant to our core product and service delivery

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement application security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Design and execute security testing strategies (.g., penetration testing, vulnerability scanning).

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field
• 6-10 years’ experience in the domain of application security and development
• Ideally, you have completed or are about to complete a Security certification (e.g. CISSP, CSSLP, CEH)
• Proven experience in application security, with a strong understanding of web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as static analysis tools, dynamic analysis tools, and penetration testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute application development deliverables and activities

• Participate in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for IT Projects and to interface with various IT stakeholders such as 3rd party vendor suppliers, business analysts and project managers to perform development activities

• Documenting the application and database detail design.

• Ability to code optimally to ensure the performance of the application is improved

Requirements

• 5 plus year’s development experience and can demonstrate strong understanding of fundamentals of requirements specification, design, coding, and testing of information systems

• Programming experience in Microservices

• 5 years’ hands on experience in web application development on .NET platform using .NET Core, EF core, Angular, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, Entity Framework, SQL Server.

• Possesses good skillset in logical deduction in issue isolation and root cause analysis using various toolset e.g., Microsoft Sys internals Suite, F12 developer tools.

• Good working knowledge of Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes and Azure will be advantage

• Proven & demonstrable hands-on experience in developing high-availability, multi-tiered and secure web applications

• Proficient in developing automated unit test scripts.

• Experienced in using version control systems, TFS and Git.

• Experienced in deploying components and applications on windows environment – client and server based

Technical / Professional Skills

• .NET Core, Microservices, Angular, Docker and Unit Testing
