Roles and Responsibilities
:
The candidate provides analysis of workflow, recommend solutions and implements application solutions to meet customers needs. He/She translates requirements into business functional requirements.
Responsibilities include assisting with design, development, system configuration, implementation and support of assigned healthcare applications for the organization. Also responsible for planning, training and evaluation of application functionality. Responsible for working with the team and key customers to ensure appropriate development of training and
implementation of application functionality.
Identify requirements
• Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and
other technical issues associated with the healthcare systems.
• Investigate end users' preferences while making build decisions and analyze
business operations as they relate to build decision.
• Formulate specifications and definition of delivery platforms for applications
• Determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
Develop applications
• Build application workflow and content as assigned by department
lead/manager.
• Follows functional specification documents to create workflow and content
within the application.
• Perform development of program logic for new applications
• Work with report writers to ensure that the application has the necessary
reports.
Implement applications
• Complete thorough unit testing of all build prior to handoff for functional and/or integrated testing.
• Integrate applications with back-end services
• Prepare test plans
• Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing
Optimise applications
• Analyse application performance based on user feedback and system reports
• Modify design logic in existing applications
• Evaluate recommendations to improve application performance
• Integrate new products with existing applications to improve the functionality and/or design
• Create user and technical documentation
Maintain applications
• Provide high-level maintenance and update of an existing applications to improve functionality and process flow
• Collects information regarding potential system enhancements and functionality needs.
• Solve unique and highly complex problems by taking a broad perspective to identify solutions
• Provide solutions to overcome complex problems using the latest technologies
• Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues
• Oversee the maintenance of technical documentation of application’s technical architecture, code changes, issue resolutions and procedures
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and vendors to resolve problems
Requirements / Qualifications
:
a) Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
b) 1-3 yrs of Technical / Application Support experience on multi technology platforms
c) ITIL v3/v4 certification and strong service oriented experience / background preferred.
d) Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
