What you'll do:
As an Application Governance Manager (Contract), you will play an essential role in overseeing the governance activities of various applications. Your daily responsibilities will include assessing application information security risks, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with non-permitted technologies. You will collaborate closely with both onshore and offshore regional teams to ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner. Your role will also involve ensuring first-line risk management and controls are in place to support the applications while promoting risk awareness within your team. Interpersonal communication is key in this role as you will be interacting with users for immediate/short/long term solutions and engaging multiple stakeholders across the organisation.
- Oversee application governance activities involving assessment of application information security risks, audits, non-permitted technologies.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore regional teams to ensure timely completion of required deliverables.
- Ensure first-line risk management and controls are in place to support the applications.
- Promote risk awareness within the team.
- Communicate with users for immediate/short/long term solutions.
- Engage multiple stakeholders across the organisation to gather and understand functional requirements, security risks for applications.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Application Governance Manager (Contract)position brings a strong technical background with a good understanding of a wide range of technologies including network, security, application architecture, database and operating systems. Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential. The ability to manage multiple tasks & work independently under tight timelines & challenging environments with minimal supervision is crucial. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required as you will be liaising with various stakeholders across the organisation. A good understanding of Local Rules and Regulations in Asian markets is beneficial. Above all, we value a team collaboration attitude.
