Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Application Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of business applications to ensure their optimal performance for clients. As a Junior Application Consultant, you will work closely with senior consultants to learn and develop your skills in application consulting, while assisting in analyzing client requirements and providing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Support: Assist in providing support for application users, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, and performing application updates.
• Application Implementation: Support the implementation of applications by configuring and customizing them based on client requirements.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements, and assist in translating these requirements into technical solutions.
• Testing and Validation: Assist in the testing of applications, ensuring that they meet functional and technical specifications, and resolve any identified issues.
• Documentation: Create and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Training and Support: Provide basic training for end-users and assist in developing training materials for clients.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to the applications you work with.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBIITIES & DUTIES

* To design, write & troubleshoot machine electrical & control systems for factory automation, smart-factory technologies as well as AI platform.

*To design and perform detailed designing for machine electrical control systems for Factory Automation, Smart-Factory Technologies, Machine & Equipment Manufacturing.

*To write Programmable Logic Control (PLC) program for automatic machine control & processes. Preferably, with Industrial PC (IPC) programming experiences too.

* To collaborate and work together with the Design Team (comprising of both mechanical & electrical members) for the design concept arising from new projects proposal and confirmed projects.

*To lead the in-house electrical staff and/or the company’s appointed electrical vendors on the respective machine control and electrical systems and operations of the projects.

*To lead the assembly members & technicians during Machine set-up, Machine Assembly Process, Alignment, Testing & commissioning in the Company and/or customer site.

*To spearhead meetings and review with the design team and the customers on control system requirements and specification.

SMART-FACTORY TECHNOLOGIES & SOLUTIONS

*To team up with cross-disciplinary teams of engineers & specialists focusing on smart factory technologies & projects.

*To ideate and build robust data and digital technology driven solutions for advanced manufacturing / industrial processes.

Job Description

• Application support and setup of motion control system, machine vision system, signal and control devices, used in motion control products and automation equipment
• Design of electrical schematic diagram, single line diagram, cable harness and build, for motion controller systems, device and sensors, used in Industrial automation machine and equipment
• Perform DOE for risk mitigation and feasibility studies on design concept
• Creation of Bill of Material of cables assembly and electrical component used in project
• Review and guides the development of product manual and application notes for new products/applications
• Evaluate and recommend product / solutions for new applications according to customer’s specification
• Understand and help to resolve application issues encountered in projects and by customer
• Work with team to fomulate work instructions
• Machine commisioning in factory/customer Site
• Ensure design meets project required milestone and timeline

Qualifications

• Candidate must process at least Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent OR-Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge in their course of study are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge in programming and / or experience in automation field are added advantage
• Preferably with 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in Industrial Automation, Semiconductor or any other related field/industry is required for this position.

Specific Qualifications (if required)

• With good knowledge on general ledger and general accounting schemes of financial products
• Knowledge and experience in supporting Olympic banking system is a strong plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Application Support: Provide first and second level technical support to end-users of the projects’ applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
