We are searching for Senior Application Support Engineer
Internal Code: AC007
What will you do?
- First responder to application and web services issues.
- Manage incidents and problems until closure with related parties.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, i.e. checking and reporting on the application and collecting data on application hits, server data load, etc.
- Conduct tests on application to reveal possible faults
- Assist in deployment and upgrade activities
- Work in a team setting with fellow support engineers, project managers and developers
- Maintain a good knowledge base and documentation for operational support
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and vendors to resolve incidents.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Diploma holders will relevant experiences will be considered.
- 2+ years web and mobile application production support in large and complex systems operation environments.
- Assist developers in troubleshooting mobile apps, web portals API thru server/app logs to resolve issues.
- Able to grasp the knowledge of the application business logic.
Good to have:
- Experience in L1/L2 support for applications and backend services.
- Experience with various Singapore Government or Statutory IT compliance standards
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other collaborative platforms
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience in development experiences is a plus.
- Good understanding of App/Web Server and SQL Database configuration and setup
