Job Scope:

• As a Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions using Ibm Planning Analytics.
• You will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations for optimization.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining hardware, software, and networks by conducting regular maintenance and updates, including regular backups and upgrades
• Work closely with project team on monthly security related audit and assist Project Manager of necessary reporting.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime and improve system reliability.
• Identifying and resolving network, connectivity, and server issues.
• Upgrading firmware, software, and outdated hardware systems.

Requirements

Your main role is to assist the Project Manager and to complement his/her

1. Ensure all the applications systems remain in good working order.
2. Take on support of new application systems when they become operational.
3. Respond to production emergencies in a timely manner which includes bringing up the server (in a crash) or system processes, fixing problems or finding workarounds.
4. Perform routine checks and to escalate to the Project Manager should any anomaly be detected.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Candidate shall have at least two (2) years of working experience in the IT or Infocomm industry, with exposure to end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Good command of English and effective communications skills to interact and coordinate with end-users. • Support the development of program logic for new applications and features.
• Follow established guidelines or policies throughout the development process to ensure programs are created in compliance with best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Support testing of the developed applications.
• Develop documentations for functional specification, technical specification, test script, user guide, etc.
• Provide 1st level application support to SAP ECC and its integration. Investigate issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Apply bug-fixes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2-4 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Developer with expertise in SAP ABAP, Webdnypro ABAP and other relevant SAP technologies.
• SAP Certification in ABAP will be a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PS and HCM.
• Experience with SAP or non-SAP integration tools e.g., SFTP, IDocs, RFCs, etc.
• Possess strong analytical, debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently manage tight timelines and expectations and produce high quality deliverables.

The Fixed Income Front Office Application Support Team operates with a global footprint, ensuring comprehensive support to multiple business line across the dealer in various regions and time zones. Their primary focus is on supporting Fixed Income eTrading Applications within TD Securities, a critical area within the Capital Markets space.

This team works in close collaboration with partners at the dealer, addressing and resolving issues related to risk management, profit and loss (PnL) discrepancies, and offering challenges. Their role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the trading environment.

Additionally, the team is responsible for managing and resolving issues stemming from trade execution, settlements, and audit. This includes troubleshooting and remediating issues to ensure smooth and efficient trading operation.

About This Role

This position interacts with all Fixed Income Etrading Users – using electronic trading and risk platforms like ION, Anvil, Bloomberg and customized Algo solutions – the focus of this role is to develop and implement lasting, robust technology solutions as well as support the existing application and surrounding framework.
Role And Responsibilities

• Supporting & delivering solutions to the firm's Trading & Sales desks in Asia, Europe & North America
• The Analyst will join an experienced team responsible for managing applications that offer risk, trading, and trade capture functionalities to the Business.
• The role will initially involve 2nd line application support responsibilities, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders across the Front & Middle Office, Product Control, Risk Management, Back Office, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams.
• Training will be on the job, but given the nature of the role, the successful candidate is expected to have prior experience to electronic trading technologies and have Capital Markets domain Knowledge. They must have a 'hands-on' attitude and be proactive in enhancing their knowledge.
• Systems and applications comprise vendor and in-house built tools
• Develop ad-hoc reporting tools for all business groups
• This is primarily an onsite position due to the job scope of the role.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years hands on working experience with ION and Bloomberg.
• Experience supporting various trading exchanges.
• Good understanding of electronic trading, markets, connectivity, market making, pricing and algorithmic/automatic trading.
• Front Office / trade floor support experience
• Fixed Income functional knowledge, particularly in treasuries and bond trading
• Experience in supporting front-to-back trading systems and trading desks (example G10, EM)
• Ability to assess trading systems/components to investigate trade breaks, connectivity, data, and performance issues
• Understanding of financial markets and products, in particular Fixed Income markets.
• Must have experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams.
• Working experience with the following technologies: Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, MS SQL, Python
• Willingness to work from 7am to 4pm SGT Tuesday ~ Friday. Rotational shift within team, to start work at 5/5:30 am on Mondays following Sydney DST changes. Rotational On-call, weekend, bank holiday coverage is expected.
