What does a Freelance Web Developer (On-site) do at Hogarth?

The Web Developer needs to build/modify responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. based on the visual briefs. You will need to work on localization of the page based on the assets provided which includes updating links, images and text, in accordance to the client’s coding standards.

Job Description:

10-20% Game Design-related work: Research mobile game trends, coming up with game ideas and proposals with the team, playtesting the game etc.

80-90% Game Programming-related work: Handle rapid prototyping of game concepts, coding and implementing the game, user interface(UI) development, gameplay implementation to graphics programming.

Job Requirements:

• Singaporeans
• Possess local Diploma/Degree in Computing or Computer Science or IMGD discipline
• 1 to 3 years of Unity Mobile Game Programming experience/knowledge
• Plays casual mobile game and possess understanding of the market trend
• Knowledge of using Google suite, powerpoint, excel sheets
• Excellent communication – active listening skills, accessible verbal and written presentation

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design, implementation, and validation of mobile SDK and application within the R&D project team structure in accordance with institutionalized processes and delivery standards
• Participate in the design and development of mobile SDKs
• Contribute to the improvement of existing technology platform/baseline and development methodology through prototyping and patent proposal
• Troubleshoot and SL3 support for our customers

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Security / Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of mobile development in Android, especially on relevant core platform technologies.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin
• Around 8 years experience working with mobile technologies
• Proficient in native development is a plus
• Strong interest in mobile applications ecosystem
• Knowledge of OO design and programming skills
• Knowledge of unit testing and test automation
• Experience with continuous integration and build automation Jenkins and Gradle
• Motivated self-starter, strong logical, creative problem-solving skills and excellent analytical skills
