We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to help expand our business. The ideal candidate will manage existing sales accounts, lead promotional and business development efforts, and take charge of customer stock audits for specific projects. You will also handle negotiations with suppliers, prepare sales budgets, generate timely sales reports, and track target achievements. The role requires daily reporting directly to the director.
Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in:
- Build and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with prospects and clients to understand and plan for their immediate, near, and long-term business goals.
- Must have experience in the staffing and Recruiting industry.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Respond to and develop proposals for client RFPs.
- Work with local, regional, and global cross-functional teams to share and improve best practices. - Research and identify new client opportunities in the region.
- Develop Account Plans for assigned accounts with input from country teams and regional stakeholders.
- Manage business development pipelines within assigned areas and track all prospect interactions in CRM.
- Identify new sales opportunities and target the right segments to sell services.
- Collaborate with client leadership and stakeholders to determine staffing needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle client escalations, establishing processes for smooth operations and adherence.
- Increase business opportunities with existing clients and manage contract renewals/SLA preparation.
- Lead and maintain healthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Address escalated issues, regularly meeting with clients to review performance metrics and recommend solutions.
Technical Skills and Competencies
1. Have a strong understanding of electronic components, electrical systems, and automation products and the ability to discuss technical specifications with clients and suppliers.
2. To learn about B2B sales, account management, and building long-term customer relationships and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the electronics wholesale industry.
3. To learn to be proficient in negotiating with suppliers for better pricing, delivery terms, and conditions and experienced in developing strategic partnerships and supplier contracts.
4. To learn to devise and implement strategic plans for business growth, sales, and market penetration.
5. Learn to provide technical solutions for clients' challenges in manufacturing or product integration and understanding of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with electronic components.
6. Learn to prepare and managing sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports and to track sales performance against targets and adjust strategies accordingly.
