About the Role:
We are hiring on behalf of our esteemed client in the shipping industry. The Shipping Logistics Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the procurement and delivery of vessel supplies, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate customer orders, break them down, and source competitive quotes from suppliers.
• Consolidate supplier quotes and update customers on pricing and order status.
• Monitor the delivery of goods to designated locations, ensuring timelines are met.
• Oversee the packing and loading of goods and manage logistics workflows.
• Prepare and track contracts and invoices, maintaining proper documentation and records.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years’ experience in shipping logistics or ship services, with a solid understanding of procurement processes.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to liaise with a diverse client base.
• Familiarity with office software and logistics systems.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
