Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Oversee Accounts staff in administering the overall financial functions and ensuring timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Present findings, financial performance, and recommendations to senior management.

2. Strategic Financial Planning and Advisory

• Participate in financial planning and provide strategic advice to the Managing Director on financial-related matters.
• Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with company objectives and drive profitability.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Lead the budgeting and financial forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and targets.
• Work closely with relevant departments to monitor budget adherence and control costs.

4. Financial Control, Tax, and Compliance

• Handle all corporate tax and GST matters, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Maintain and enforce finance policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.

5, Cash Flow and Credit Management

• Manage cash flow requirements, oversee credit control, and optimize working capital.
• Monitor bank balances, manage payments, and coordinate with banks on financing and foreign exchange as required.

6. Financial Operations and Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
• Leverage financial technologies to streamline processes and support faster reporting.

7. Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Supervise junior finance staff, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to align financial processes and support cross-functional objectives.

8. Ad-hoc Financial Support

• Provide financial analysis for ad-hoc projects and business decisions as required by management.
• Participate in strategic initiatives by providing financial perspectives and data-driven insights.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA/CA are preferred but not required.
• Min 5 years of relevant experience in finance, specifically within the retail sector.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and retail-specific financial controls.
• Proven ability to handle full-spectrum accounting, including AP, AR, and financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver insights.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving financial issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, balancing hands-on responsibilities with team leadership.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred, given the need to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide advice to internal stakeholders on all procurement-related matters and ensure they are compliant with Company Procurement Policy.

- Perform vendor screening, supply market research and analytical studies to identify and select potential suppliers to be added to the pre-approved vendor list.

- Prepare RFQ/Tender documents

- Review and evaluate quotations from vendor

- Coordinate purchasing activities and services based on company’s needs.

- Monitor process and supplier performance and resolve issues with suppliers.

Job Description:

• Manage the site technique team (BIM, C&S, M&E, Archi) to deliver the outcome timely and with good quality. Maintain design program by managing interfaces and monitoring progress, coordinating activities, resolving, or coordinating conflicts and issues in design packages.
• Co-ordinate design related matters with Consultants and Clients. Resolve technical problems for project team.
• Work out the shop drawing (mainly RC and Archi drawing) submit schedule and manage the submittals in orderly manner. Technical proposal composing.
• Arrange and chair regular meeting of technique team for progress monitoring.
• Ensure optimize design solutions in compliant with construction standards, regulatory framework, contractual specifications and buildability requirements.
• Ensure the construction team clearly understand the content and requirements of the latest drawings and requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Civil, Structural or in a related field accredited by Singapore's Professional Engineer Board.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience and 5 years in large scale Civil & Infrastructure/Building projects.
• Good knowledge and experience of RC structure works.
• Familiar with Archi, M&E works.
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

BEPS Pillar 2 Compliance and Reporting

Assist and support VP Tax Singapore (OTOC) in rolling out and implementing the framework on tax compliance with BEPS Pillar 2 requirements in Singapore

• Assist VP Tax Singapore in liaising with DF/FISC for Company’s guidance and requirements.

• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of BEPS compliance status and tools used in relevant processes.

• Coordinate with the branches and finance teams in Singapore in response to Pillar 2 compliance requirements, including but not limited to monitoring country ETR, organizing computation of QDMTT and filing domestic top up tax returns.

• Provide timely reporting of progress and key matters to OTOC management

• Monitor potential risks and manage tax queries and audit defense related to Pillar 2

Tax Support to Singapore OTOC Matters

Provide expert tax advice and support to OTOC matters in Singapore to improve tax compliance status, including but not limited to:

• Monitor Singapore tax legislative development and analyze potential impact to Company’s operations in Singapore

• Provide tax advice to Pillar 2 related matters and Singapore tax advice to others ad-hoc OTOC matters

• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and relevant functional teams to assist Singapore affiliates to develop and implement tax efficient strategies, including assisting affiliates in evaluating and applying for tax incentives

• Provide advice and assistance to Singapore affiliates on transfer pricing matters to enhance TP compliance in Singapore

• Reporting to VP Tax Singapore and OTOC committee of any contentious tax issues and suggest practical solutions

• Provide tax assistance to TESS management and functional teams, including but not limited to review of tax implications on TESS activities and agreements.

• Manage external advisors for professional engagements by OTOC and/or TESS

• Professional liaisions with tax authorities/relevant government units

Continuous Improvement of Singapore OTOC Tax

• Assist in developing strategy to optimize Singapore OTOC tax administration

• Continuously review work processes to ensure efficient workflow to maximize efficiency and quality of information flow

• Organize tax trainings for different business groups of Singapore entities to improve tax awareness

• Lead or implement new projects as delegated by OTOC management and VP Tax Singapore (OTOC) from time to time

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Degree in tax or accounting with professional qualification (e.g. accredited tax professionals)

• At least 10 years of relevant working experience in both Big 4 firm and large MNCs, preferably not less than 8 years of experience specialized in corporate taxes.

• Strong tax technical knowledge of Singapore tax legislations and international tax principles and mechanism

• Up-to-date knowledge and experience on BEPS 2.0

• Experience of engagement with IRAS and relevant government authorities/agencies

• Experience of managing tax compliance, tax planning and tax advisory

• Hands on experiences of accounting systems is a strong plus

• Experience of working in a shared service function is a strong plus

• Self-starter with a growth mindset, strong multi-tasking, and independent

• Teamwork mentality, positive mindset and problem-solving attitude, with high standard of integrity and work ethics

• Good communication skills
