The Application Test Engineer is responsible to develop automation scripts based on the test scenario. The scripts to conform to standards and are delivered with quality, meeting schedule and requirements.

You will be working side by side with the network core team in ensuring network availability and serviceability for a secure, resilient and stable distributed environment. Your primary responsibility is to support and maintain the network access layer for our enterprise networks. You will manage access to the wired and wireless networks; ensuring last-mile connectivity for multiple locations. In addition, you will also manage the network communications rooms at these locations; providing cabling interconnect services for structured cabling, and liaising with Facilities Management to ensure uninterrupted power and cooling delivery to the rooms. You may be called upon to support certain network functions in the Data Centre.

a. Service and close support tickets to relocate or add client endpoints' wired network access

3. Troubleshoot, triage and resolve client endpoints' 802.1X authentication/authorization access issues and escalate, if necessary, L2 and L3 issues

4. Monitor availability of network access and provide immediate response and/or investigation to system alerts

5. Troubleshoot and assist with root cause analysis of incidents replacing failed network components

6. Support and perform routine automation tasks to ensure compliance for secure configuration, configuration backup management and routine firmware upgrades/updates

7. Manage operational activities and implement changes

8. Track network equipment support lifecycle, procure and support refresh activities to project closure and payment

9. Track equipment maintenance support agreements and telco circuits contracts, procure contract renewal and make payment

10. Support project teams in the delivery of wider IT servicesInventory and Documentation

11. Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of the environment

12. Maintain up-to-date documentation on rack layout and cabling interconnects

13. Manage and maintain up-to-date inventory control

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree holders with 1 to 2 years of working network experience in management of LAN and WAN environment

• Preferably with formal technical certification such as Cisco CCNA

• Experience in scripting and programming with network automation tooling on Ansible, Python, Terraform, GitLab is a plus

Job Description

· Provide L1 and L2 on-site / remote IT support and fulfil service requests for CLIENT employees in all CLIENT locations.

· Perform asset tracking of all corporate devices (from purchase to disposal)

· To be responsible for end-to-end process for all new tickets in the ESM tool, incoming phone calls, Teams messaging to the Service Desk, including, but not limited to providing first call resolution, logging of ticket, escalation of ticket, regular following up with users and tracking the closure of tickets within agreed SLA.

· Utilize ESM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) to manage all ESM tickets, adhering to response and resolution times based on ticket severity and document key actions within the ticket accurately.

· Support the Team Lead in providing dedicated support for approximately 200 VIP users and be available for after-hours VIP (VP and above) support. Advanced notice will be provided by EDX team.

· Provide CLIENT employees with information and support related to CLIENT's corporate systems. Provide guidance to employees on how to perform self- service support and Service Desk's available modes of support.

· Monitoring of health of corporate systems and escalate abnormalities to the Team Lead.

· Escalate any company-wide incidents (disruptions or outages in CLIENT's corporate systems) to the Team Lead.

· Assist to implement service improvement plans approved by the EDX team.

· Adhere to ITIL processes and frameworks, ensuring best practices in IT service management.

· Adhere to established processes and best practices within the IT

Service Desk playbook.

· Refer to the solutions/knowledge in the IT Service Desk playbook for reference and to facilitate self-service troubleshooting by CLIENT users
