Brief Job Description

• Provide technical support, propose solutions, and project related queries for all Wired, Wireless network.

• Perform analysis, Plan, Coordinate and Implement all change requests on existing network equipment.

• Maintain records of system details (e.g. configuration, changes, problems, disaster recovery document) for network equipment.

• Manage firewalls like Checkpoint, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto and NEXUS switches; F5 Load balancer

- Gather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test & implement systems in accordance with the specifications & service level.

- Aligned or enhanced ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations e.g. Change, Incident, problem, release management & CMDB.

- Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & service level availability.

- Respond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.

- Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.

- Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations.

- Able to lead a team of network engineers (size).

- Attain key certifications for partnership with key vendors.

Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Monitor Network Master Control Room and provide reporting and communication of change activity, including incidents that may be related to change.

- Switching & Routing (underlay and overlay).

- Identify service impact, interpret monitors, dashboards, traffic captures, and logs.

- Initiate production support triage efforts for network infrastructure incidents, manage bridge line troubleshooting and appropriate team engagement, engage in technical research and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

This role is required to managed and support 1-Net's IT Services business, including Cloud Services, Managed Services, DC services, and Business Continuity Management Services.

• Support for corporate and customer IT infrastructure and projects in delivering services according to SOP to meet prescribed SLA.
• Design, architect and build network and security solutions, frameworks, automation and orchestration to secure IT System and Infrastructure. Apply security best practices at the data center infrastructure, system and application levels.
• Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation of IT services
• Performance monitoring, preventive maintenance and patch management of IT equipment to ensure optimum performance. To propose capacity upgrade or replacement when required
• Perform daily rectification of IT operational issues and change requests within expected service level agreement.
