-Monitor the reachability of all connections within the network adhering to circuit restoral priorities and initiate troubleshooting to restore full network capability.

Job Description

• To support on Engineering FPSO & FPU Projects schedule central planning
• To follow up on P – Series Improvement initiatives and implementation of lesson learnt
• To monitor topside engineering document submission status and analyse topside six-week lookahead file submitted to KBR.
• Prepare weekly report to include topside engineering status verified by Seatrium, identify gaps (if any), Status of overdue documents and open comments. Rate of closing document comments etc.
• Project Report shall be provided to Seatrium engineering management team and relevant discipline leads to follow up
• To assist on Projects resource management, Engineering management and digitalisation
• To assist on all project engineering coordination related activities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Shipbuilding, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or relevant apprenticeship training in a marine trade
• Knowledge of various workshops dealing with specialised works in the industry
• Able to perform scheduled night duties when required
• Attend to vessel’s needs during weekends and public holidays
• Travel within the country or abroad for ship check
• Good knowledge of marine industry skills in any discipline
• Knowledge in Hull,Mechanical, Piping & Electrical will be advantageous
• Good planning,organization, control, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good knowledge of project management software and other planning softwares

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical calculations, cost estimates, and technical curves for tender submissions.
• Analyze design requirements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support and specifications throughout the tender lifecycle.
• Work with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotes for special accessories and equipment.
• Prepares electrical design and winding Bill of Materials (BOM) for transformers manufacturing, including schematics and layout drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to optimize design performance.
• Support ac-hoc work such as site surveys, technical meetings and approval drawing preparation etc.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification, preferably with a major in electrical power engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, etc., is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Familiarity with transformer industry standards, such as IEC and IEEE.
• Excellent team player with an open mindset and a collaborative spirit.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to meet project timelines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
