Areas of Work :
- Perform programme/component design, coding, configuration, testing and other related tasks during software development (progressively moving towards Microservices, DevOps, Cloud-native technologies)
- Ensure software quality, security and application code performance are met
- Analyse and resolve technical issues arising from development and testing
- Develop/ enhance automated test scripts
- Support business users with their technical queries
- Develop/update relevant documentation

Requirements:
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of medium to large, complex applications
- Strong working knowledge of various technology platforms and practices, including, but not limited to, Microsoft .NET technologies, service-oriented architecture, and software development best practices
- Experience in programming in C#, Javascript and Angular
- Experience in Test Driven Development, Agile software development processes and experience in mocking frameworks
- Strong analytical skills, able to independently derive high-level technical designs via the analysis of business requirements
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technology solutions to various audiences
- Innovative mindset and able to challenge assumptions

Annual Package
• From $62,000 to $100,750 (Including IT allowance. Remuneration will commensurate with candidates' years of experience.)

Aliena is a leading Singapore-based space-tech company, aiming at providing high-resolution data to terrestrial businesses by enabling a fleet of imaging satellites to fly closer to the Earth using our proprietary electric propulsion engines. In January 2022 Aliena broke the record for the smallest satellite ever to launch with a Hall plasma thruster on board.

By joining our dynamic and visionary team, you will take part in defining the future of Earth observation and state-of-the-art low power plasma propulsion systems.

Your responsibilities

• Perform the electrical design, simulation and analysis of power electronics circuits and systems to meet technical product requirements. The main focus will be on DC-DC power converters.
• Conduct the electrical debug, test, characterization, and validation of power electronics designs.
• Optimise the Power Processing Unit design for coupling with Aliena’s family of Hall effect thrusters. Understand the interactions between power electronics and plasma devices (internal training provided).
• Cooperate with embedded system engineers to improve the Electronic Control Unit and explore the possibility of an integrated ECU-PPU.
• Support the design of laboratory experiments to test the PPU performance coupled with different Thruster Units and power rails.
• Assist in the environmental testing of PPUs and other Aliena systems (might involve travelling abroad).
• Partner with the operations team in planning for the scale production stage of the propulsion system.
• Document and share best-practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in PCB design and assembly including knowledge of eCAD.

Useful experiences

· Experience in modelling, simulating, and testing of power electronics through tools like PSIM, MATLAB, ORCAD/PSPICE, LTspice, etc..

· Experience in designing and solving technical problems in the area of power and analog circuit design.

Job Requirements:

· Degree in Civil Engineering from a university recognized by Singapore PE Board

To be a part of the Engineering Planning Department responsible for planning and rolling out Singapore’s Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN) fibre infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

• Plan/Design pipeline/innerduct and cable project schemes for the implementation of NetLink Trust’s fibre network infrastructure.
• Update Network Inventory records of cables, pipelines and orders according to the planned project and on-site assignment.
• To monitor project implementation progress of projects.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements :

• A Diploma in Engineering or with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in CAD/CAM drafting environment would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of network rollout or implementation would be an advantage.
• Possess excellent project management and communications skills.

Responsible for fulfilling all residential service requests from our customers; this is achieved through working closely with contractors and getting the support of internal and external teams; working towards the same objective of resolving all provisioning issues as a member of the Work Force Management team in Service Provisioning Department.

Responsibilities :

• Identify and resolve all technical issues and resolve them within SLA timeframe by work closely with contractors, Requesting Licensees and internal departments.
• Manage and monitor contractor performance
• Identify potential issues prior to provisioning.
• Handle all CS escalations expeditiously and resolve them within SLA to ensure good customer experience.
• Find long term solutions and implement preventive action to all complaints and disputes to prevent future occurrences
• Prioritize and manage all VIP escalations with a high level of professionalism
• Prepare daily / weekly monitoring and analytical reports.
• Scrutinize contractor performance through respective feedback channels/analytical reports and assess areas of improvement/provide suggestions on SOP enhancements
• To pick up knowledge and skillsets from other sections within SP to prepare for the possibility of job rotation
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• To go on-site to handle complaint cases and audit check on contractors, when required.

Requirements :

• Diploma/ Nitec in any discipline (Engineering preferred) with relevant working experience preferred
• Possess good working knowledge of MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Driving license and own transportation would be an advantage for onsite duties

To be responsible for fulfilling NBAP/P2P service requests from our customers; including working together with the support from internal and external teams to resolve provisioning issues as part of a member of Service Provisioning Department.

Requirements :

• Monitor end-to-end tracking of orders to ensure timely and accurate updates of works
• progress.
• Provide timely, accurate and quality of works progress updates to Requesting Licensees.
• To go on-site if needed to conduct survey or requested by Requesting Licensees to resolve
• site issues.
• Liaise with Requesting Licensees/Contractor/ internal stake holder on NBAP projects or
• work orders.
• Ensuring the submission of WAH documentation from contractor and assess them

Requirements:

• Provide IT technical onsite support for end user services problem which includes identification, diagnosis, rectification, and escalation.

• Support on desktops, notebooks, printers, scanners hardware components.

• Installation, re-installation, troubleshooting and reconfiguration of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft applications that are found in the Desktop PCs and Notebook PCs. Examples of such software are Windows 10 OS or any standard desktop OS, MS Office, Internet Explorer, MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express, etc.

• Installation of Apple IPad software’s.

• Provide support for queries, escalation, problem determination, resolution, and MAC – move, add, and change.

• Printer Maintenance.
