Job Description:

1. Perform acoustic testing and analysis on electronic instruments to evaluate performance.
2. Detect and analyze noise to identify potential issues and solutions.
3. Conduct initial analysis of abnormal sounds and propose effective resolutions.
4. Design and implement noise reduction and vibration control strategies.
5. Optimize critical acoustic parameters for new product development.
6. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to finalize detailed mechanical designs for products.
7. Carry out acoustic measurements and verify the performance of product prototypes.
8. Document and maintain analysis data and conclusions from acoustics-related experiments.
9. Work closely with speaker manufacturers and microphone component suppliers to validate and confirm design recommendations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/ Electronic/ Acoustic/ Mechanical Engineering of related fields.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Basic electronics and mechanical structure concepts.
• Familiar with 3D concepts, experience with CREO CAD is a plus.
• Able to work on weekends and travel to Thailand and Mexico according to project requirements.

QAQC ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• To establish the quality assurance system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 for the project, formulate the Project Quality Plan.
• To develop, review and revise the Inspection & Test Plan, attend QA/QC meeting and to advise on quality control issues.
• Ensure quality of works in accordance with Quality Management Plan including development of Method Statements, Inspection & Testing Plans and Checklists. Should know process of handling, storage and handover process of such materials.
• Monitor the implementation of the Project Quality and Environmental Plan.
• Preparing Quality Plan that supports the project and clients’ requirements on quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC).
• Prepare and conduct site inspections and close on the reports
• Witnessing and sentencing of all site inspections within their disciplines.
• Follow and fill up the inspection and test plans to comply with the contract requirements.
• Ability to conduct inspection and test plans and Inspecting works and recording all inspections to ensure compliance as required.
• Acquaint section personnel with QA requirements and arrangements in place to achieve them.
• Audit and monitor QA and Environmental systems for compliance and effectiveness.
• Coordinating and maintaining a non-conformance control system including issuing of non-conformance reports to the Project Manager and ensure corrective actions are implemented and effective.
• Control/check on status of issue/revisions of QC documents/drawings within section/on sites.
• Ensure all QA/QC control measures and procedures are documented, implemented and auditable.
• Maintaining the quality assurance records and execution of periodic inspection on job.
• Verify that all quality related activities are in accordance with codes and standards.
• Works will involve Day & Night shift operations.

Qualifications:

• Possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronics) in construction firm
• At least 6-10 years working experience in the related field
• Preferably specializing in Quality Assurance/Control, Engineering- Structural/Civil/Construction/ equivalent
• Familiar with ISO standard for ISO 9000, 14000, and18000
• Rail experience with LTA project in Singapore would be an advantage

Personal Attributes:

• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadline

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for commercial notebook computers.
• Utilize Creo design software to create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customer support, to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards.
• Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and propose design improvements.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges during the design and production phases.
• Optimize product designs for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the PC or notebook industry.
3. Proficient in Creo design software, with proven expertise in creating complex 3D models and 2D drawings.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, structural analysis, and material selection.
5. Familiarity with commercial notebook design standards and manufacturing processes.
6. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve design and production issues efficiently.
7. Prior experience in the mechanical design of commercial notebooks or similar electronic products is highly preferred.
8. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
10. Innovative mindset, with the ability to propose and implement design enhancements.
