Job Description:

• Design and develop software applications for embedded devices.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols (e.g.TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP, MQTT-S) to establish secure and reliable connections between embedded devices and on-premises/cloud platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging and troubleshooting of embedded devices to identify and resolve issues related to functionality, connectivity, performance and reliability. Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and others documents as required in the SDLC processes.
• Assist day-to-day application support issues.
• Liaise with users on the requirement testing and production issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience software development and system integration
• Experience in C++ application development.
• Knowledge/experience in Java application development (advantageous).
• Web application development using HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience in database interfacing (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL) using ODBC/JDBC and SQL.
• Experience in multi-tier software architecture design and implementation.
• Familiarity with virtualization using containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience in application development and deployment into Commercial Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Application development for desktops/workstations.
• Experience in developing web services in commercial cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
• Experience with AWS Lambda Functions using Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Single Sign-On solutions (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Knowledge of secure communication protocols (e.g., MQ, MQTT, SFTP, FTP-S).

• Direct and Supervise WIP and Final Inspections
• Handle and Approve First Article Submissions
• Understand & Ensure Compliance with customer’s requirements
• Monitor, maintain and continually improve quality standards.
• Resolve Quality issues with internal and external parties.
• Supervise and maintain calibration of measuring equipment
• Review on non-conformances & approve disposition actions.
• Create 8D reports.
• Provide periodical quality review and trainings.
• Involve in First Article Product and process development.
• Assist in maintaining ISO System, reports, follow-up and closure.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing or related Engineering field.
• Min. 5 years in related field.
• Knowledge on measuring and statistical techniques
• Knowledge on CMM Machine.

• Experience in data communication such as network protocol (TCP/IP, UDP/IP etc), serial protocol (RS422, RS232 etc) and transmission channels is an added advantage
• Proficiency in operating measuring equipment or software such as network analyser, serial protocol analyzer and oscilloscope
• Proficiency in network software such as wireshark and network analyser
• Good knowledge with Operating platform such as Microsoft Windows and Linux
• Good understanding of Local Area Network
