· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

· Responsible for the planning activities within a project and organisation planning across all projects.

· Provide project Progress S curve, activity list, logic diagram (PERT , CPM), time scaled logic diagram, Bar chart, manpower histogram, resource and cost curves.

· Publish the planning weekly report of all projects and disseminate to key stakeholders.

· Overall project coordination liaising with engineering, procurement and construction team for the purpose of developing a fully integrated schedule.

· Follow through construction, commissioning, qualification and handover.

· Obtain input from project team members, contractors, suppliers and client to support the development of a baseline schedule, and subsequently to update schedule progress and forecasting.

· Use planning/scheduling principles and methods including: CPM scheduling techniques, Resource loading of schedules, Field Progress Measurement.

· Analyse critical path and highlight to project team.

· Coordinate and support the preparation of monthly spending plan curve.

· Provide a regular management update on the progress of the major activities in process improvements and quality improvements

Job Description

• To assist Engineering Manager to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• To be competent to set up, configure, operate and maintain a wide variety of electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production, including, but not limited to HD Video, UHD Video, Audio and Communication Equipment.
• To be competent in the use of Radio Frequency Equipment and antenna systems
• To be able to troubleshoot broadcasting equipment to a system level and able to communicate and report to the office and manufacturer for problem solving.
• To undertake project work from site surveys to delivering in a professional and timely manner.
• To assist in keeping equipment updated with the manufacturers latest software releases.
• To be responsible for maintaining technical equipment and systems to the required safety and technical standards with minimum disruption to operational activities.
• To be willing to learn and practice the new technologies used by NEP Singapore that have not been experienced or worked with before.
• To be able to direct, instruct and manage assistant engineers and possible system integrators on projects.
• To work safely at all times, complying with statutory safety requirements from NEP Singapore Health and Safety Policies.
• To be able to draft technical reports of field work.
• To be competent in reading and designing of the engineering workflow.
• Prepare technical documents for the preparation of projects and amend as necessary throughout the life of the project
• Attend technical meetings for the projects when is necessary.
• To be flexible with work time and travel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in broadcast television. Preferably with direct experience of working in an Outside Broadcast environment.
• Familiar with the operation and programming of Routers, Switchers, Tally Systems, Multiviewers, etc
• Familiar with the setup and integration of cameras, lenses, ccu’s etc.
• Experience with EVS equipment including LSM, X-File, X-Hub, IP Director
• Relevant engineering qualifications or a proven track record
• An understanding of radio, television, and the associated transmission and carrier systems.
• Understanding of computers, servers, IT systems and networks.
• A keen interest in broadcast technology, its development and application in the region.
• Knowledge of Cisco Switches and IP technology an advantage.

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.

• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).

• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.

• Assess potential risks, materials and costs.

• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.

• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.

• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.

• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.

• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.

• Working with a team of fellow engineers and construction crews to organize and complete projects.
