Assisting Department Manager on day-to-day operations and to be a good role model setting good example including managing and supervision his subordinates with positive attitude towards work, customers, company and profitability of the job at all times.
Execution of his daily duties including planning of work-scope, personnel allocation; assess tool requirement, scheduling, assessment, execution of repair and service works on diesel engine and auxiliary equipment components of two/four stroke engines. Monitor progress and ensure works are carried out on time and budget to correct quality levels.
Track and update work progress and delivery schedules for recon. components.
Evaluate safe and efficient work procedures to recommend modified or new tooling or process
Assist with the compilation and production of service reports, calibration reports, draft invoices and work specifications etc., including ISO work instructions, risk assessment and checklist for all works.
Liaise with customers and class, agents and other involved parties as well as other Goltens departments, QC, Sales staff etc. during repair projects including techno - commercial aspects with sub - contractors and vendors on outsourced reconditioning and repair works.
Provide on-the job training to assigned personnel, monitor to verify skill levels and actively participate in the development of Goltens personnel to improve the quality of work.
Ability to involve in the counseling process as part of the discipline action in the case of violation of rules of your subordinates.
Have self-discipline, ownership and be responsible in maintaining the workshop, plant equipment, tools in good order and ensure good housekeeping in all job locations are well upkeep at all times.
Always be proactive, cultivate good and safe working practices at all times to your subordinates and others at all times.
