The MRS ML Infra team will be focusing on ML Infra performance and efficiency for both large scale AI training and inference workflows in the recommendation domain.

In this role, the engineer works on optimizing the e2e stack for model training and inference for large scale recommendation models. The opportunities are from distributed systems, to model/system co-design, to GPU system optimizations.

Responsibilities

The APAC Datacenter Engineering Senior Mechanical Engineer will be part of the team responsible for the development of Microsoft’s industry-leading datacenter designs.

This position is a Subject Matter Expert providing key input to other organizations and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a professional mechanical engineer with extensive experience in datacenter mechanical engineering (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Fuel Oil and BAS systems), design, construction, and operations.
