Head of Network Operations

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Network Operations to lead our network operations team. This role will focus on strengthening and overseeing the operations of our domestic and cross-border payment schemes, ensuring seamless settlement processes, compliance with industry standards, and operational scalability. You will be critical in managing the processes for Liquid Group's payment platforms while driving continuous improvements in scheme rules and settlement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and optimization of both Domestic Payment Scheme and the Cross Border Payment Scheme. Ensure that the operational rules, processes, and standards are continuously strengthened and compliant with both local and international regulations.
• Develop and enforce the Liquid Group payment scheme rules for both domestic and cross-border transactions. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and payment industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Commercial, Compliance, and Finance to ensure seamless integration and alignment of payment operations across the company.
• Oversee payment settlement operations, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation. Manage discrepancies in settlements and provide timely resolutions in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Manage relationships with external partners including financial institutions, payment service providers (PSPs), and regulatory bodies to ensure the infrastructure and processes for payment schemes are effectively optimized and maintained.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying areas for process improvements in scheme management and settlement. Propose and implement solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, and mitigate risk.
• Lead the strategic planning of payment operations and infrastructure. Develop and implement initiatives to scale operations in response to growing market demand, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting domestic and cross-border payment schemes. Ensure that the company remains at the forefront of industry best practices.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in payment operations, with a strong focus on payment schemes, settlement processes, and financial operations.
• In-depth understanding of domestic and cross-border payment systems, including regulatory requirements and scheme rules.

Responsibilities:

• The activities required to be performed shall include the following:
• Test and commissioning of network equipment for production environment.
• Design, configure and review the network configuration with the contractors.
• Perform full Disaster Recovery (DR) swing test on the system and network.
• Configure and manage firewall, routers, switches and wireless access points.
• Design and segregate the voice and data VLANs which integrate to the backend system.
• Configure the network monitoring system to enable it to be monitored with statistical data and provide alerts when the equipment is down;
• Set up and integrate the network from front end devices to communicate to the backend system such as Payment System;
• Support and troubleshoot on network issues that occur during implementation and daily operation;
• Configure network security hardening for all network equipment based on the customer requirements.
• Track and resolve network related incidents and requested within Service Level Agreement (SLA);
• Prepare documentation on the Network Architecture Design.

The qualifications required are as follows:

• Recognized degree/diploma or equivalent in Information Technology/Engineering or related discipline with at least 4 years’ relevant experience in system & network administration;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to work well both independently and in a team;
• Possess a strong interest and self-motivation to install, configure and maintain system/network services, equipment, and devices, provide system/network support and request, investigate, troubleshoot issues and provide resolution, i.e. including managing user accounts and access;

In view of current service expansion, our ESL team is recruiting for a Senior Executive to join the Network Planning team. You will be supporting the team in slot contracts negotiations as well and providing analytical support in structuring, modifying, and reviewing new and/or existing Alliance partnerships.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree; preferably in Business Analysis, Economics, Maritime related studies
• At least 4 to 5 years of experience in container shipping industry, specifically with network planning / trade / pricing experience
• Proficiency in MS Office application; Microsoft Excel

- Minimum 5 years of deep technical experience working on IPAM environments

- Deep understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing and Time Services

- High degree of experience in the day-to-day configuration and level3 troubleshooting of IPAM DHCP, DNS, and DDNS
