As the IT Operations Engineer for this project, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of our systems deployed in the government's commercial cloud environment. This position requires technical expertise in cloud technologies, and a good understanding of government regulations and compliance standards. Roles & Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of our government's cloud infrastructure on the Commercial Cloud (GCC) platform.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud services to meet the needs of government agencies.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud resources to support critical government operations.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security best practices to protect government data and systems on GCC.

Vendor Management:

• Liaise with cloud service provider and vendors to manage service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor relationships.
• Work with vendors to assess, plan, co-ordinate and implement the appropriate technology changes, updates and refresh when products are reaching end-of-life.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in managing IT operations for cloud environment.
• Proven experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure, preferably in a government or regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Duties and Responsibilities:
