This role requires a highly motivated and independent individual to join our growing team. As an Operations Management Trainee, you will undergo a comprehensive training program to develop your skills and knowledge in the F&B operations scene. You will assist in the daily operations of our F&B outlets, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your job time will be split into both operational work and administrative management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform food/beverage preparation and assist in daily operations of all outlets under the Company
2. Understand overall F&B operations procedures, keep updated with Company/Regulatory policies and standards
3. Ensure enforcement of food hygiene and quality standards per Company/Regulatory requirements
4. Develop and apply knowledge of inventory management and cost/wastage control
5. Learn to manage a team, including scheduling, training/re-training, coaching staff, resolving issues/conflicts. Maintain a good level of staff satisfaction
6. Assist to organise and participate in training sessions and meetings
7. Maintain a good level of customer satisfaction and quality service
8. Participate in cross-department discussions with kitchen, events and marketing to ensure Companyβs deliverables are met
9. Analyze sales data, customer/staff feedback, and operational/incident reports to identify areas for improvement
10. Develop and implement improvement processes to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
1. ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec/Polytechnic diploma holder
2. Strong passion for F&B industry with desire to learn
3. Able to communicate well with people from all walks of life and positively influence people
4. Adaptable, organised and resourceful
5. Can work in fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
6. Work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends/holidays)
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
8. Basic knowledge of F&B operations/food safety and hygiene is a plus point, but not mandatory
