• Responsible for all technical support related aspects at a specific customer: escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs and upgrades.

About the role:

The OA role has the responsibility to support vessel day to day operations such as:

Assist the Vessel Operations Superintendent as instructed and ensuring deck plan for project equipment is ready including assisting the VOS with mobilisation and demobilisation activities in an efficient and timely manner. File time sheets of the contractors and maintain documentation of certification / service reports for equipment mobilized.

• Liaising with Vessel Operations Superintendent and subject matter experts to ensure that all mobilisation related documentation such as service reports, Work Instructions, NDT reports, class inspection records, etc are filed.
• Actively involved to maintain the Action Tracker Coordination Meetings and Corrective Action Registers.

About the Job

The Quality Department plays a very important role in Cyrus in maintaining the quality management system and driving quality improvements to deliver high quality products for our customers. Job Scope:

1. Able to assist in tender pricing of ACMV project/ Alteration & Additional Work.

2. Data Entry for the project material delivery, Bill of Quantity and Tender Pricing.

3. Serves as liaison between the user and in-house contractor on all ACMV related system.

4. Provide sizing and design of ACMV system (chilled water) for individual room

1. Coordinate with supplier / sub-contractor of the tender specification and obtain the quotation from them
2. Control and supervise workmen to make sure standards of building performance, quality, time and cost schedules, and safety are complied.
3. Responsible for keeping daily work record, including additional work claims to the clients and from the subcontractors

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tool build, integration, testing and troubleshooting
• Ensure tool remains up for Process and other hardware qualifications.
• Work with Clean Room Facilities group to specify facilities requirements.
• Understand facilities availability and needs of the tool and work with the facilities group to manage & troubleshoot any facilities related issues.
• High level technical knowledge in at least one R&D discipline (Optic, Electronic, Motion, SEM): (1) Support R&D module owner in “Off & On Tool” Module Integration, Calibration and Qualification (2) Qualify Module performance to spec (on & off tool) (3) Support R&D Development (C&F) activities
• Qualification of non-system components (isolated from application)
• Define & execute Qualification plans; Define, execute and qualify calibration procedures (off and on tool).
• Performs all standard service activities through Tier I. Able to perform routine preventative maintenance within established timeframes. Completes quality repairs.
• Responds to customer tool issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
• May participate in projects to reduce costs and increase uptime.
• Verifies operational quality of system equipment. Assists senior engineers as needed.

Job Summary

A Senior Geotechnical Engineer position is available with Fugro Marine Geotechnical Team. The Marine Geotechnical service line is responsible for acquiring and interpreting accurate geotechnical data which enables our clients to make informed decisions during the engineering, design and construction phases of infrastructure development projects, ultimately reducing project risk and costs.

Reporting to a Principal Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Manager, the Senior Geotechnical Engineer will take responsibility for independently delivering the findings of offshore site characterisation projects whilst managing a small engineering team in the future. From time to time you will also lead site based teams which is predominantly on dedicated geotechnical drilling vessels.

This position will be based in the Singapore office and serving all projects in the Asia Pacific Region.

About the Role

• Assisting the Engineering and Reporting Manager and Principal Engineers in the technical direction, resource management, planning, mentoring and training of a team of geotechnical engineers
• Communicate directly with Clients and Fugro’s project management team to ensure requirements are met
• Technically manage a portfolio of various sized projects, ensuring compliance with the specification, and delivery of projects to programme dates and within budget
• Perform offshore stints either as a Lead Geotechnical Engineer or for the purposes of training and mentoring junior staff
• Delegate and distribute project responsibilities to junior staff and oversee their work
• Provide geotechnical consultancy services
• Review and approval of data provided by laboratory and geotechnical engineers

About you

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering
• Demonstrable experience within the Geotechnical Engineering profession, with relevant experience within the onshore or marine sector
• Willingness and ability to be part of offshore data acquisition campaigns
• Computer literate, capable of using spreadsheets preferably including macros and SharePoint
• Capable of generating a safe, productive and quality-based culture within the team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A good team player and able to form working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
