About This Role:-

The Operations Analyst will build strong and collaborative relationships with internal business partners to support new members’ onboarding journey into AsiaNext, conduct onboarding screening check, schedule periodic customer due diligence review as well as trigger review on positive alert hit from daily AML sanction and database screening.

The successful candidate is also expected to provide operational, client servicing and account management support to member’s queries relating to their trades or transactions on AsiaNext platform.

In addition, the successful candidate is expected to execute onboarding and other operations tasks in line with documented standard operation procedure.

Responsibilites

Operations Duties

• Terminal Cost Calculation: Calculate container/Cargo terminal costs based on operational requirements and relevant cost factors. Take responsibility for maintaining an accurate operational list, which includes capturing all chargeable units and those of partner slot units. This involves doublechecking data entry and verifying information to maintain data integrity.

Finance Duties

• Prepare and post journals for month-end close (i.e. agency revenue, crew advances/bonus, logistics expenses reclassifications, and all adjustments relating to Agency). He or she is required to work independently and has a comprehensive understanding of GL codes and apply the necessary parameters for different financial transactions.
• Institute agency fee recoveries against Ship Management for services rendered pertaining to crew change fees and expenses.
• Liaise with other 3rd party principals and AR on agency fees and cost recoveries pertaining to agency services rendered in respect of crew change and other cost outlays incurred on behalf of such principals. This includes performing reconciliation, matching and clearing of GL account.
• Assisting the Operations team in monitoring and extracting invoices in relation to cost recovery.
• Extracting and sorting of PSA/PSA Marine invoices on a regular timely basis. This includes assisting AP to identify the cost center and advise AP on the ownership of the bills.

Admin Duties

• Collate the Agency Monthly Performance (KPI) in consultation with the HODs as part of the monthly review exercise on our agency performance.
• Maintain and Update the Share Point page for the Agency Department.
• Manage the storage of documents within the agency and when required, to arrange proper labelling on documents for off-site warehouse storage. Periodically to review the documents stored off-site and where it is practical and permitted, conducts disposal of such documents.

[What the role is]

The selected candidate will process and perform quality check on meteorological data, monitor performance and support maintenance of operational systems, and disseminate timely meteorological data, forecasts, warnings and related information to local and international users with the objectives of supporting weather analysis and forecasting activities to meet the requirements of the aviation and shipping industry and general public, agencies and specific users. [What you will be working on]

The job scope will include but not limited to the following:

• Monitor the performance of various data processing and collection systems and equipment to ensure timely availability of data in support of weather monitoring and forecasting activities
• Coordinate with external vendors/agencies during equipment or system outage and perform first line trouble-shooting for prompt restoration of system.
• Collate, prepare and quality check operational aviation meteorological information
• Consolidate and analyse statistics in support of the departments’ decision making process
