About the Role
We are seeking a Manager, Mobile Services who will be leading the operational needs within this department. This role will report to the VP, Operations (Medical Services).
The Manager of Mobile Services will oversee the operational, financial, and strategic direction of the Mobile Services department. This department delivers healthcare services at patients’ homes and coordinates corporate health screening events at client offices. The
Manager will be accountable for the department’s profit and loss (P&L), ensuring cost-effective operations, revenue generation, and high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to align the department with organizational goals.
A summary of the key responsibilities and requirements are as follows:
Operational Management
● Oversee the scheduling and deployment of doctors, nurses, and support staff for home visits and corporate health screenings
● Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate health screening events, including site recce, logistics planning, and setup
● Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services while maintaining quality and compliance standards
● Monitor resource utilization to optimize operational efficiency
Profit & Loss (P&L) and Financial Oversight
● Manage the department’s P&L, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability
● Develop and monitor budgets, including staffing, equipment, transportation and other operational costs
● Identify revenue opportunities through service expansion, client partnerships and pricing strategies
● Analyze financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior
leadership
Team Leadership
● Lead, mentor, and support the Mobile Services team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
● Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide
professional development opportunities
● Address team concerns promptly to maintain morale and productivity
Patient Care and Client Coordination
● Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure personalized care plans are effectively implemented
● Act as a point of escalation for complex cases, patient feedback, or client requirements
● Coordinate with corporate clients to understand their health screening needs and ensure seamless execution
● Maintain high standards of patient and client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Strategic Planning
● Develop and implement strategies to expand and improve Mobile Services offerings
● Align department goals with organizational objectives and growth plans
● Analyze key performance metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement
● Explore partnerships and opportunities to enhance service delivery and market presence
About you
● Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field
● Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership capacity
● Prior experience handling mobile or home healthcare services and/or corporate health screenings
● Strong financial and operational management skills
● Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and P&L management
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Takes a pragmatic and proactive approach to solving handling matters
● Proficiency in healthcare management software and Google Suite.
● Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and best practices
● Ability to think outside of the box, and roll-up-your sleeves to solve problems as they arise
● A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges
● Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to rapid changes - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
