Job Description

• Analyze operational solutions for electronic interconnect manufacturing projects such as process and methods analysis, cost containment, capacity enhancement, and shipment optimization.
• Work with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers to review customer prints, bill of materials (BOM), contractual commitments and related information to determine logistics and develop logistics metrics and key performance indicators.
• Identify cost-reduction or process-improvement logistic opportunities; develop cost estimates and forecasts
• Monitor projects from product design, materials planning, ramp-up production of wire harness products and ensure meeting with schedules and reaching company’s business objectives.
• Involved in defining work procedures/processes and building up documentation system.

Job Requirement

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year in the manufacturing industry
• Possess with mechanical/mechanical/electrical/electronics and experience in manufacturing would be an advantage
• With knowledge on production routing and scheduling is preferred
• Possess good leadership and must be a strong team player
• Hands on skill in assembly products is preferred.

• Plan, lead and supervise upgrading works, addition and alteration works
• Lead a team of supervisors and workers and oversight of manpower for project execution
• Ensure designs / drawings meet relevant code and compliance requirements, and good engineering practices
• To attend site matters / discussions to resolve technical / site issues and progress matters
• Continuing to improve all installation works schedule and quality of work through proper planning of work method, materials procurement and selection, and efficient site management
• Monitor and control project schedule, materials delivery and budget etc
• Liaise coordinate with clients, consultant, project supervisors and sub-contractors on project related issues and to ensure project objectives are met
• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
• Establish and maintain a detailed tracking and filing system of all documents
• To prepare, submit Variation Claims with instruction documents & part-plan from client
• Maintain all filing systematically & uploading of softcopies in the system
• To place materials order to Purchaser in advance as per Order list as per site requirement
• Responsible for ensuring implementing safety measures

What You Can Expect

• You will work with a global team on both the physical design of complex chips as well as the methodology to enable an efficient and robust design process.
• You’ll be working hands-on to triage workflows, whether you’re running RTL code through synthesis and place and route (PnR) tools to create the physical view of the chip, analyzing performance by running timing analysis, verifying a robust power grid by performing EMIR analysis, etc.

What We're Looking For

• Have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields and have 1-3 years of related professional experience OR a Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. In your coursework, you must have completed a digital logic course and projects that involved circuit design, testing, and timing analysis.
• Have work or course experience where you created and tested a logic block, then were able to look at the quality of results to ID improvements.

Main Accountabilities:

• Commissioning of both Industrial AC and DC power systems, battery maintenance, discharging and health checks. Timely completion and reporting of commissioning documents and relevant site paperwork. Use of I.T for uploading and downloading of configuration files.

• Routine maintenance of UPS and battery systems. Timely completion and reporting of documents and relevant site paperwork. Us of I.T for uploading and downloading of configuration files.

• To liaise with other departments and engineers to ensure site visits are carried out in a professional and safe manner.

• Training of customers to use equipment and understand basic user functions.

• To cover call out rota to support customers with 24/7 Powercare cover. To work unsociable hours i.e. Night work and weekends as required.

• Expenses and time sheets to be completed and submitted in a timely manner.

• Promote AEGPS maintenance contracts and Service wherever possible

Education, knowledge and working experience:

Diploma or Degree in Power Electronics or Electrical Power disciplines

• 1-3 years of relevant experience within the industry

• Good knowledge of industrial power systems products/applications/solutions

• Diagnostic and problem solving skills

• Good base knowledge of PC (J Bus / Profibus / Modbus and other communication media) and programming skills

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Electrical and Electronic Engineering background is a must
