Common Core Cluster Operations and Admin Centre (CC COAC) provides operations and administrative support to 2 schools: the School of Mathematics and Sciences (MS) and School of Life Skills and Communication (LSC).

MS offers core and elective modules in mathematics, statistics, physics, IT and programming, and data analytics for all students in engineering, technology and business courses in SP. LSC anchors the foundational modules taken by all SP students. The school is committed to develop critical and creative thinkers, confident communicators and self-directed learners ready for life, work and the world.

The incumbent will be part of the CC COAC team which provides administrative support to the various functions for both MS and LSC at cluster level. He or she is expected to work closely with all levels of staff and the schools’ external stakeholders.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-

Manage stakeholder enquiries through SP’s Customer Relations Management (CRM) system, phone enquiries and attending counter duties
Provide administrative support to adjunct lecturers (ALs) including processing monthly claims and creation of letter of appointments
Plan, coordinate and implement internal and external school and cluster events such as staff welfare and team-building events
Procurement and management of office equipment and resources
Review, enhance and develop processes and services to support operations of both schools
Maintain various school/cluster databases

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

At least 4-8 years’ relevant work experience in office administration and provision of secretariat support
People-oriented with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Self-driven, independent and a team player with good event organization skills
Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe applications. Proficiency in other digital platforms such Power BI and Padlet would be an advantage
Knowledge/experience in student management systems/processes would be an advantage

Successful applicant will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.

[What the role is]

The role is with the Additive Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) which is a Centre of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing Technology & Design Innovations set-up jointly by EDB and NYP and located at Nanyang Polytechnic. The strategic intents of AMIC is to support the national AM initiatives to drive greater industry AM adoption and develop core capabilities in Design for AM optimization & process innovation, besides supporting the needs of NYP’s PET and CET programmes. It also provides co-creation, collaboration and project incubation services for industry and conducts regular sharing sessions, clinics, etc.

[What you will be working on]

· Contribute to AMIC’s strategic planning towards achieving the KPIs.

. Support AMIC and work towards meeting the key performance indicators & deliverables and project milestones.

· Implement and follows through new innovation projects engagement with industry.

· Execute project to ensure timelines, budget and deliverables are adhered to.

· Contribute actively in professional developmental activities such as industrial engagement and collaboration projects.

· Support resource planning and schedules to ensure successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and timely completion of projects.

· Support industry AM adoption, capabilities development, growth, technical disclosure, licensing and industry proof of concept projects.

· Leverage on past industry experience and exposure to provide new industry leads for engagement.

· Organise and run competitions, workshop and training to meet industry outreach and training deliverables.

[What we are looking for]

• Working experience minimum 2 years in Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing, Design for Additive Manufacturing

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines
• Highly motivated, result-oriented, independent team player
• Able to learn on the job, work independently, multi-task and perform under pressure
